I have forgotten to make note over the past two weeks that Israelprayer has officially crossed over into its 15th year of providing this email list to people who love and pray for Israel.
From the beginning our vision was specifically to pray in agreement with the Body of Messiah in Israel because of the guiding spiritual principle that God speaks His will to us directly - not first through outsiders looking in. Who better to grasp the heart of God for Israel than the Israeli apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists & teachers in Messiah YESHUA?
Begun just weeks before the Islamic attack on the United States on September 11, 2001, these are two anniversaries are in my mind inextricably tied together:

I never imagined that I would look up one day to realize that I would still be doing this 14 years later, but it is such a joy to me to be so connected with the wonderful believers of Israel.
Today it is easy to imagine doing this until my last breath!

praying until all these afflicted leaders are living in great health conditions

Please keep in prayer the Israeli believers who are fighting for their lives or other urgent health needs:
Eddie Santoro, beloved pastor of the Ahavat Yeshua congregation in
Jerusalem, underwent brain surgery to remove a large tumor from his brain. Santoro:
"Tell everybody that I'm doing amazingly well and that God has been
faithful to answer the many passionate and dedicated prayers of the
saints." His congregation reports: We prayed over Eddie and Jackie Santoro
(pastor of Ahavat Yeshua) this (Shabbat) morning. Eddie is recovering well
after his surgery. Please continue praying this week as he meets with
specialist regarding his next steps in recovery, and the possibility of having
to go through chemotherapy and or radiation. Declare healing over him in
Yeshua's name.
Elana Cantor wife of Ron Cantor of Tiferet Yeshua in Tel Aviv was injured in an auto accident 2 weeks ago in the US. Now in Israel she is still suffering much pain from ruptured discs sending her back to hospital with pain & numbness. Please continue to pray for her Elana and Elana's mother who recently had a pacemaker put in has just returned to the hospital with some complication! The Cantor's ask for your prayers for her.

Michael E is not an Israeli ministry, but is a critical support
player in communications of the ministries. Last fall Michael suffered a
stroke, now doctors are trying to get to the cause of continuing health issues
- attempting to rule out Lou Gehrig's Disease but leaning toward an MS
diagnosis. Michael likes to fly under the radar, but is desperate for prayer
agreement. Please pray for him, and for
other unnamed key support people in Israeli ministry-related service suffering
acute, serious health issues.
Jacob Damkani Firstly, Jacob has been moved to rehab and is recovering. We ask that you continue to lift up him in your prayers; that he will have a full recovery, that he can rest and that he will meet with the Lord, have an encounter with the One, who saved his life (a few times in these last days!). Also: The pastor of our congregation (Sacred Assembly), Baruch Maayan and his wife Karen have also been enduring a difficult time with their health. Please be praying for healing and protection for their whole family.
Rachel, wife of Brian Slater, has a hip replacement scheduled (after complications from shattering her hip 1 1/2 years ago). With three children and mercy ministries to run, the pressures on this family are severe. The surgery was supposed to take place 2 days ago but has again been postponed for a month. Please keep this family that does mercy ministry in prayers for God's mercies.
Judi, the wife of Yaakov K, a pastor in southern Israel, is battling cancer and already had radiation, surgery and chemo. She has a spot on her liver that's inoperable, but it's not conclusive yet whether it's cancer or not. Next round of tests will be conducted in October.

Moshe Morrison,
treasured elder statesman of Messianic Judaism and founding elder of Tents of
Mercy: Thank you for recruiting all that
healing prayer. Many very good testimonies as a result. Regarding my condition,
it turned out not to be Sciatic but an inflammation in the hip joint. However,
having Sciatica in the past, the pain felt the same down my leg and my back and
was equally debilitating. It took about two weeks before I was correctly
diagnosed by an orthopedic doctor. Through medication and two more weeks it has
almost completely cleared up. Praise God. Please continue praying for my back.
There are many problems that greatly limit my mobility and flexibility. Thank

Marc Chopinsky is
one of the true fathers of Messianic praise and worship and our worship
overseer at Tents of Mercy. For the last
number of months Marc has suffered from a prostate ailment that recently
received surgical treatment. His
recovery and the full recovery of his vital functions has been incomplete and
he is still in discomfort. Please pray
for full health recovery.
Ruth Nessim of the Nahariya Fellowship: Ruth is being treated for Lymphoma biologically. Still it will need months of hospital visits and treatments, and patience, so I would value your prayers. A new development for Ruth is that her whole body has broken out in a rash that looks like burns. Drs have not yet identified the cause.
Please pray for one of the forefathers of the Messianic movement who shall remain nameless, as his health continues to deteriorate. And for his wife and family, that his wife receives the help she needs to care for him as he is less able.

Please continue to pray for Shelly, wife of Eitan, a pastor in
Israel Pochtar's ministry. Shelly was on
death's door step in May, but has begun a miraculous steady healing process
since then. She has re-learned to walk
and is regaining strength and feeling well.
Please pray that God continues this complete turnaround from the valley
of the shadow of death to full, complete healing.

Patty, the wife of Dr. Daniel Juster,
just underwent a serious back surgery on Monday (same type my husband had at
the beginning of this year!) She was
released to home recovery on Sunday and doing well, but is in for several
months of difficult recovery. Please pray for Patty & the family as they
deal with all the issues of healing from such serious surgery.

Arrows from Zion Strategically Aimed for the Lord’s Harvest in Israel
Eitan Shishkoff is also celebrating an anniversary of leading the Israeli Messianic youth gatherings called Katzir, or Harvest. Eitan writes, "For nearly 17 years I've been privileged to work with many others, seeking to bring Israeli Messianic youth into a vibrant relationship with God. Sometimes the fruit is visible, but often it is not. This summer, the Lord showed us that he is working big time."
Shish continues, "On the last night of
the camp the youth heard an impassioned message on the power of the Spirit by
Ron Cantor (pastor of another sister congregation - Tiferet Yisrael in Tel
Aviv). The response of the young people was profound. Nearly all of them came
forward for prayer to receive the fullness of God's Spirit. A significant
number gave their hearts to Yeshua for the first time. The room was tangibly
filled with the sweet strong presence of God. When teenagers pursue you to pray
for them, that is meaningful fruit! I can only conclude that many of you prayed

Shishkoff is traveling with his son and
grandson to Taiwan to minister at the Bread of Life Church network . He writes, "So I'm asking for your
prayers because this is a potentially strategic visit. In addition to teaching
on subjects ranging from "Who is Hiram?" to"Turning the hearts
of the fathers to the children," I will be focusing on the Fields of Wheat
project. Not incidentally it was before the senior leaders of this church that
I first presented the vision of this national hospitality village to serve the
believers of Israel."
At the
Kfar Saba Congregation of the Wellspring, pastor Tony Sperando is rejoicing
with the 8 new believers they just baptized in the Sea of Galilee on the
hottest day in Israel's recorded history!
They also write about revival in their Hispanic community, "Our
Congregation is comprised of over 20 different nations. Some of these nations include new immigrants
from South America such as Brazil, Argentina, and Cuba. In the past few months, God has begun a
revival within this community that is spreading like wildfire! Neighbors and friends of our members, some of
whom are believers married to unbelievers are attending a meeting designed
specifically for worship, prayer and evangelism in Spanish. We are watching the
harvest unfold before our very eyes!"
Pray for this growing Hispanic group.
Updating their Bomb Shelter project, the congregation writes, "In any endeavor, it seems that the last phase always seems the most difficult, resulting in the most need for prayer! Our Bomb Shelter project is proving to be the same. With only 10,000 Euro more needed to purchase and renovate, we need much prayer to break through the bureaucracy of securing the permits, and to secure final approval from both parties and lawyers to complete this project. Some call it 'birthing', we call it 'actualizing God's plan.' Please pray for this impasse to be broken and for God to provide teams for construction and remodeling." Maoz Ministries writes about the increase in random, opportunistic
terror attacks as civilians and soldiers are being injured in the rising wave
of terror. One headline that crossed
Twitter last week asked, Is this 'lone wolf' attacks or a third intifada? Maoz sends these strategic prayer 'arrows' -
"Please PRAY for protection for all Israeli
citizens. PRAY for wisdom and guidance for Israel's leaders and commanders.
PRAY for God's supernatural intervention to thwart these terror attacks. "
Maoz also asks prayer for their Israel-China Kingdom Destiny Conference during the Feast of Tabernacles. "Leaders and believers from all over Israel, as well as believers from several countries in the Far East will be attending. Please PRAY for all the details of the conference to come together perfectly as we prepare for this multi-day event. PRAY for a strengthening of the special bond that has been established between believers in Israel and China (and the Far East)."

Read about a Messianic couple denied a wedding facility due to their
faith taking up a discrimination lawsuit to advance the civil rights of
Messianic Jews in Israel. Maoz has set up a legal fund to help the couple fight
this good fight in the Israeli Justice system. Maoz writes, "The legal
costs of taking this case to court are estimated at $18,000, and we believe
it's worth every penny. YOU can help us
take a stand for justice, and stop another rabbinical encroachment on the
Messianic community in Israel." Read more here.

Also from Revive Israel - a new congregational
plant as one of the Revive staff, " Roni Rejuwan, who has been
serving regularly at the drug rehab center Beit Ha'Yeshuah (House of
Salvation), was asked to take on the pastoral role of their congregation
Yeshuat Israel (Israel's Salvation). The congregation is growing with about 70
people currently attending, and about half of them are participating in or have
graduated from the rehab program. Please
join us in prayer for Roni and the congregation, for the development of a
strong leadership team, and for the finances for a new vehicle to transport
participants."
Howard Bass who leads the Yeshua's Inheritance
congregation in Beer Sheva writes that the LCJE 10th international conference
just wrapped up in Jerusalem. Bass
participated as a speaker in the forum discussion "on opposition and
persecution to the gospel and believers, and also presented a
reflection/devotional on evangelism to the Jewish people in the 21st century.

Howard also asks prayer cover for "the
upcoming SAYF (Sitting At Yeshua's Feet) leadership prayer retreat gathering at
Sde Boker from Sep 1-3. Despite the timing coinciding with the opening of the
school year, we are anticipating a good turnout, and with more Arab
participation. We all sense the critical time period in which we are living,
and the obstacles to us expressing the truth of the unity and love and peace
among ourselves together which we have each received and experienced
personally."
Guy Cohen who leads the Harvest of Asher
congregation in Akko asks, "As the school season and holiday season
approaches we ask that you keep all of us here at Harvest of Asher, staff and
congregation in your prayers. We are
aiding the Acco Municipality in the purchase of school supplies for children in
the city. Please keep this project in your prayers. Pray for
our children as they enter into public school. We pray that their hearts will
be guarded and that the love of Yeshua will be shown to the teachers and other
children. They will be a witness in their schools."
From Lura & Eddie Beckford in Arad: So someone else used our credit card
(in the USA.... I am still not getting any mail from outside Israel. [religious shenanigans at the post office most likely]
Our van is not running. The tow truck went to the wrong address & than went
home. ... We bought strips for checking blood sugar in another city & when
we arrived home, we discovered the strips were expired. ... Now with no van, we
can't return them. And I just got a phone call warning me of another believer
out of fellowship, trying to persuade people to put false charges against me so
she can go to the police. BUT God is in charge and all this is temporary! Pray for the Beckford's whose home is used by
many for services off and on thru many years.

Evan Levine of the HaTikva Project writes that
the Health Ministry came for their initial inspection of the dental clinic and,
"I’m happy to say that the visit went extremely well! They were impressed
with our level of preparedness and the standard of our clinic. From this point
there is approximately a 3 month processing period (Why? I have no idea! Such
is the nature of bureaucracy.) before we will be given our license and open the
clinic."
Levine writes, "As the clinic opens, we will have such amazing
evangelistic opportunities as we treat patients in the name of Yeshua! In order
to facilitate these operations, we are going to be doubling the amount of paid
staff that we have in Israel. This brings along with it many more monthly
expenses. We are also doing our best to provide more livable wages for our
employees as opposed to the general Israeli low salaries. Please consider the increase in our overhead as you pray about giving."
Two of the people that the HaTikva Project
have been able to help recently are (1) an 86-year old Holocaust survivor was
blessed with an air conditioner for her Ashdod apartment. Israel has had an
intensely hot summer! (2) a single
mother who immigrated from the former USSR who has not been able to make ends
meet no matter how many hours she puts in as a seamstress. HaTikva has happy to
lend a hand with her bills.

The Church
Realignmentwith the Body of Messiah in Israel
Here is where I'm at. I am all in for the Body of Messiah in Israel as the most
significant sign of the prophetic times we are in and it is a HUGE drag to me
that so few in the Church get it. Both the Church and the Messianic Jewish Body
have equal roles to play in the glory of the Lord that is coming to us in the
