Praise the Lord for the increase of our spiritual family over the past year with new believers, new babies, new engagements and weddings, new anniversary milestones – we have been blessed in this generation of believers in Israel. May the blessings continue to increase on all your families.

Remember that the Jewish people who gave us this wonderful gift of our Savior – though they are still living in darkness and cut off from Yeshua. “Even so have these also now (then) not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.”

Thank God that we do not have to go by what things look like in order to have assurance for God’s purposes. Continue to pray for those being persecuted in Israel for the faith – for grace, and the clear favor of God’s presence to be upon each and every one of them for a witness of true Love.

Thank God for the release of provision which has been diverted to tributaries in Israel other than the natural River bed that flows to those with the life of Yeshua in their hearts and the vision of God in their eyes. Pray for the man-diverted streams to return to the natural River flow so every true vision is fulfilled – resources to begin to overflow their banks.

“A New Thing in the Body in Israel” wrote the Kliens “UNITY AMONG LEADERSHIP” wrote the Sorko-Rams – both speaking of a new level of the working of the Holy Spirit among the ministry leadership of Israel. Thank God for joining us to them in prayer for the work only He can work.

Stretching out the tent pegs in ministry housing and outreach continues to be a priority into the new year. Pray for release of funding and favor for each project to be completed and paid for.

The congregation in Netanya appears to be in the sights of enemy with critical spirits of infirmity attacking many congregants. Please join in agreement for the healing of Yeshua to flow to a congregation being overwhelmed with urgent health issues.

Thank God for the evangelists of Israel – those Israeli men and women whose hearts burn with the declaration of the Good News for the Jewish people and for the Arab men and women whose hearts also burn with the Good News for the Palestinian people. For the Druze, the Bedouin, the lost Gentiles.

Thank God for Israeli Ministries with a global vision “For out of Zion shall go forth the torah, and the WORD of the LORD from Jerusalem.”

Thank God for the Christians and Messianic believers around the world who prefer their spiritual brothers to distribute humanitarian aid and other forms of blessing the people of Israel who have not yet come to the Light of Life, Yeshua. Thank God for the revelation they have – so those groping in darkness might be blessed in the Name of Jesus – and not just in the name of good hearted men.

Thank God for touching former President Jimmy Carter’s heart to offer an apology to Israel for his many harsh criticism. Thank God that He granted Carter repentance before the day of his passing from this life, that Carter might get his heart right spiritually. May this surprising turnaround be repeated in millions of hearts across the world.

Whether we celebrate the Feast of Dedication or Christmas, if we are in Messiah let us pray for the Light to shine into the dark places of our family members, friends and community who have not yet seen His Light which is able to grant Life.

One would have to be spiritually blind not to see the encroaching darkness in the world, even as we celebrate in these end of the year holidays, our spirits are crying, “Where to from here, Lord?” Pray the Lord will impart vision for the coming year and our hearts will be open to hear His smallest whisper.

Ask for a revealing of Yeshua upon the nation of Israel – both to Jews and Arabs. Ask for greater light to shine into the hearts of those who already know the Lord, greater revealing of the Love that is ours in Him – the Truth that sets us free, setting at liberty the captives.

Pray blessing upon the fresh, upfront and spiritually mature evangelism going forward in Israel. There is an anointing to speak to Israelis (Gal 2:8) that “works effectually”. Pray it would be “mighty” in these going forth in Israel not only in word but in power.

Thank God for the working of ALL things to good in the case of the religious terror attack on Ami Ortiz. As the trial is set to unfold we pray that all hidden schemes of man against the righteous will be exposed and the truth will prevail….that many eyes will see and be enlightened. Grace for Ami & his parents.

Thank God for the fruit of Messianic outreaches going on in the nations. Also, that the LORD for the much maturing fruit in the ministry of Israeli believing youth and young adults.

There is a fire of extremism that is flaring up in the religious-nationalist camp. Pray for these men and women who are radicalizing in the model of the apostle Paul before the Messiah was revealed to him on the road to Damascus in pursuit of believers to persecute.

Thank God for His hand over the hearts of believers – in the physical and spiritual sense – to bring them into the good He has planned for them; into their hopes and their future according to all in His mind.

Thank God that no matter what evil or calamity that comes upon us, God is well able to get the glory out of our lives in the end. No weapon formed against us shall prosper and every condemning tongue we declare impotent to fulfill its mission.

Open doors! Open doors! Thank God He is opening doors that no man can shut, and closing doors that no man can open. For “…The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9).

Speak blessing upon the heads of Israeli Jews and Arabs who labor together in brotherly love for the sake of the gospel. Pray for blessing to be released to those who will release blessing into the hidden ministries who must remain nameless and unknown for safety reasons.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Thank God that He puts our tears in a bottle – He knows them.

As you prepare this month for the celebration of the birth of the Jewish Messiah, will you also cry out for the Jewish people who do not yet know Him, who is “the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world”

As Jews everywhere are commemorating the Feast of Dedication, it is an opportune time for the Light to click on in Jewish spiritual eyes. Pray for the Lord to continue to reveal Himself and pour out His Holy Oil. Pray for Divine appointments and for seed planted to burst forth in growth.

Pray for Leah, David and Ami Ortiz as the first court date facing the confessed bomber will happen tomorrow, Dec 9th. This is only the beginning of a long process. Pray for grace and the Lord’s prevailing will.

Pray for covering over all the believers – especially those who are currently targeted by persecutors. The Levine family in Beit She’an could use your prayers as the ultra-Orthodox community has been stirred against them with a 2nd arson attack on their vehicle.

Pray for those who make themselves enemies of Yeshua by persecuting the brothers of Yeshua. Paul was such a man, but God revealed Yeshua to him – Paul got a revelation of God’s love and it was Yeshua. Pray for the persecutors of this day to be shown the height, width, depth and breadth of true Love.

Pray for the attorneys who are representing the many cases of believers. This are important platforms for speaking to the Israeli people – what is being weighed in the courts is making the point of the contrast between darkness and light.

Pray for the people of Gaza to see a great Light and be delivered out of the darkness which is Islam.

Pray also for the lions of God – the evangelists and ministers who preach the gospel in greatly dangerous places…some even losing their lives to do so.

Join together to lift up those believers in Israel who have been afflicted with illnesses – some unknown, some medically manageable, and some threatening to swallow up life. Healing go forth in the authority of Yeshua. By His stripes we were healed.

In everything they do and everywhere they go, we ask the Lord to cause fruit to continually be in bloom and favor to dog their steps. At every turn Divine guidance to light the path ahead and for the presence of the Lord to be heavy upon them .

Thank God for what He is doing between Israeli believers and German Christians – it is a ‘secret weapon’ in Yeshua’s arsenal like what He is doing between Israeli Jewish believers and Palestinian Arab Christians.

Pray blessing upon the Israeli outreaches currently going on in Goa, India and in Gombi, Nigeria. For God to show Himself mighty with these.

Thank God for all the release of provision into the Israeli ministries – may every need be met. Every monthly budget and vision fulfilled.

Thank you Lord for Your Yeshua – Your Salvation.

The arrest of the religious-nationalist Jewish terrorist who has confessed to attempted murder of a Messianic Jewish teen is a victory in this battle – but now believers in different parts of Israel are receiving terrible and explicit death threats. PRAY NO WEAPON formed against them shall prosper!

“Please begin to pray for this trial, and I ask especially for prayer for Ami. Ami has to process what is going on in his own heart and mind concerning the man who intentionally inflicted such harm on his person, with the explicit intent to murder our family.”

Intercede for the Body in Israel who are as beacon lights demonstrating the contrast between true light and true darkness. Pray for their story to be told right and honestly in the media, the courts and in the greater community of faith in Yeshua Jesus worldwide. The time to favor them has come Church!

Yeshua said: "On this rock I will build my kehila and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” The word translated “church” in our Bibles actually means both “congregation” and “community.” Pray for all parts of the Body to receive a sense of and embrace the greater community of faith we are.

Please pray for the multiple language congregations of Israel. The U.S. is known as the “melting pot” and no other nation but Israel is as much a melting pot as us! Pray for real community to be the reality of congregations often separated in a practical sense by language barriers. No barriers to kinship.

Pray for the national Messianic Chanuka Youth Conference, Arise and Build DEC 13-15 – for hearts eager to deepen their relationships with God.

“You will be like a faucet, flowing with spiritual authority here …. You will see new things, there will be healings, and a spiritual releasing - breaking curses from the past occupying nations” We stand in agreement with this word spoken over Pastor Hani of the Evangelical Baptist Church of Akko and agree that it is indeed a word for all the ministering leaders in Israel.

The enemy was stirred up after the above word was spoken over Pastor Hani, so afterward one of the congregants was attacked by a delusional man who stabbed him in the chest and chin – We agree for healing and for unshakable faith in the word of the Lord.

Pray for new opportunities to speak in the U.S. and other nations would be opened to both the Jewish and Arab pastors in Israel – that they might be given opportunity to share how the Lord is moving in the Holy Land to raise up a truly holy people united in His Messiah.

Pray for the young Israelis who will be ministering in Nigeria next week – for God to meet the people in a mighty way so His presence changes the lives of all concerned forever. Seasonal dust storms can be a threat to flying – pray the Lord will be Lord over all the weather conditions in this ministry trip.

Speak for Grace, Anointing and Favor to be upon all those who are discipling and mentoring the future leaders of congregations, ministries, outreaches and all spheres of influence for the gospel of the kingdom to advance in Israel.

Thank God for the release of finances to all the pressing needs – including meeting monthly budgets much less the over and above needs – for all the ministries. Favor, spirit of generosity to bless those in Israel who are a blessing in the Name above all names – Yeshua.

Pray for the wisdom of Israel’s Prime Minister and other leaders who are charged with guiding the affairs of the nation. Pray also for those with no respect for the authority of the elected government to be reigned in and not to act as a law unto themselves.

Thanks be to God for the young adults who are emerging in ministry leadership positions as a new generation is taking its place spiritually; and thank God for all the young people serving in defense positions of service. May the protection of the Lord be upon them all.

It is like being on a roller coaster isn’t it? One second up, next second plunging down – sudden veer this way, then sudden veer that way. Thank God we are not walking on the waters in the midst of this boisterous sea all by ourselves; but He has bid us , ‘Come’ to step out and He walks with us.

“Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters …, so our eyes look to the Lord our God …” (Psalm 123:2).

More delay in the Beer Sheva trial – which is being carried over to final testimony on March 9, 2010! For the incident on Dec 24, 2005. Wheels of justice grinding slowly – but Howard Bass is saying “The Lord is also the Father of Times!” Keep it in prayer – the Judge held back attorneys from probing into areas of testimony that would have been better served if fully explored. Let’s keep standing for this.

Thank God for the Body in Israel standing as one and with many other saints from the nations in the Beer Sheva trial, the Ami Ortiz matter and other Israeli believers who have been targets of persecution in Arad, Pnina Pies and the kibbutz case that has kept a family in a legal fight that drags on.

Keep petitioning Heaven for truth lovers in Israel to clearly discern the difference that is manifesting as ugly religionists persecuting those walking in the lovely graces of Messiah-likeness. The difference is like night and day – but deception veils many eyes. Pray for the scales to drop and eyes to see.

The media are people too – pray for true reports and discerning investigations that the journalists would dig deeper than the convenient explanations until the truth is exposed. This is especially critical in the case of “Jewish Terrorist” Yaakov Teitel. It is a FACT he did not act alone.

Thank God that even with pressing events within the Messianic community, ministry is still going on in every direction – needy Holocaust survivors are being ministered to, as well as broken people from the street, families – every problem in the human condition.

Speak healing over the members in several congregations struggling with serious illnesses and a covering over the whole Body in Israel for health. Spirits of infirmity be broken off & health released.
Thank God for many betrothals, marriages and births being celebrated in the Israeli Messianic community of late. May blessings of joy rest upon these families of the Lord.

Bless the outreaches, book publishing, new media development and ministry of Israelis believers within their own nation and going out to the nations. For funds to be released to cover all the needs – and the unexpected hidden costs that crop up as ministries continue to advance the kingdom.

The poor are always with us, so there is never a time when the poor could not use a blessing in the name of the LORD. Pray about giving a gift into the hands of believers for the blessing of the poor this Thanksgiving through Christmas.

In the most desperate and impossible situations, that is often when our spirits are humbled enough to see our need of a Savior. Pray for those who are currently in this condition to hear the knocking at the door of their hearts – to open and let Him come in to abide forever.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains (holds fast) will do so until he is taken out of the way (ginomai mesos or, to arise assembled from the middle – or gap, the place of our mediation between lawlessness on earth and the will of God for earth from Heaven ). And then shall that Wicked be revealed (apokaluptoô – to take off the cover, expose).

Until the Lord removes us from our place of standing in the gap, in the place of mediation against the lawlessness so rampant in our world, let us be those who holding fast restraining the spirit of lawlessness with the word of the Lord’s will.

Please Keep in Your Prayers the November 23 Beer Sheva Congregation Court Case!
The date is upon us and the last testimony in the case will be taken - then judgment is rendered on December 23 .

Pray that the leaders of the ultra-orthodox movement, as well as Israel's law enforcement agencies, will have the courage to ask the difficult questions raised by the hate crimes by ultra-Orthodox terrorist, Yaakov Teitel. The future of human rights and the rule of law in Israel hang in the balance.

May God help the U.S. govt and liberal media to abandon political correctness & actively face the dangers of radical Islamists before there are more attacks. Israeli ministries are praying with American Christians and Messianic Jews who must stand against this incredible “burying the head in the sand.”

Pray for indigenous evangelism and congregation planting in Israel – as the LORD of the Harvest continues to bless Israeli Jews and Arabs with salvation in His Son. The Spirit of Liberty is setting captives free in Israel – demolishing every stronghold and breaking every chain.

Continue to pray for blessings of support for many of the congregations and ministries in need – they depend on hearts moved by the Lord to come alongside even as the many women who followed Yeshua and his 12 apostles from the Galilee – who were contributing to their support out of their private means.

Pray for the advancing of the ministries in Israel – with all that is going on (and that is a lot!) – they continue day by day to advance the gospel of the kingdom throughout the land. Pray for grace and provision – and lasting fruit.

Pray for Israeli believers who are battling life-threatening illnesses – for the Lord to rise with healing in His wings over them, his banner of peace and love spread over them as a covering of mercy. Speak “LIFE” for Aigul and “Peace” over her husband Zabid. Thank God for healing baby Bruchel.

Pray for our Messianic soldiers (300-400 serving in the IDF at present) that they provide a clear witness of the Messiah at every opportunity.

Pray for those Israeli believers ministering in the nations – from India to Indiana. Divine appointments, anointed words before everyone they stand before. Protection of those who hold down the fort at home.

Pray for signs and wonders to accompany the word of the Lord delivered through the mouths of His servants in every place. This week I read one young Israeli minister declare, “I love my life!” Pray for the oil of gladness to be upon all those serving Him.

Pray that we would all break out of our religious boxes – we all have them – into the glorious freedom we have been freed by Him for.

Ask the Lord to open new avenues of reaching the unbelievers and connecting with believers worldwide through new technologies, and through pioneering new territories – places we have not walked before.
Pray for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to continue to do the good job of navigating Israel through the increased hostility of the world. Pray for Israelis to put up a united front against evil – both from without and from within.

Water is something as valuable as gold throughout the Middle East. Pray for Israel’s water resources to be replenished – and protected from those who would use water as a weapon against Israel by depleting her resources.

The priority for us all is that knowing Yeshua is the priority. Pray for our hunger to abide in Him deepen that in all we do He remains the central focus of our lives. That as we look to Him, we would be transformed to resemble Him to the people around us – a pure and genuine likeness.

Inside a Special Report from David & Leah Ortiz on the whirlwind since the arrest of the attempted murderer of their son also recounting a touching meeting with a Palestinian family whose 22 yr old son was murdered by Yaakov Teitel. Much to rejoice and also intercede over in this Ortiz Family report .

Pray for Israelis from all walks of life to discern the truth behind the facts of this case that has so rocked their national conscience. Pray that the all facts of the case will be exposed to the public light – hidden things exposed – a people to choose the truth to walk in.

Pray especially for those in the religious-nationalist settler movement – that the truth of hatreds that have been allowed to grow up as weeds would be plucked from individual hearts and turning to the LORD in spirit and truth.

The Jerusalem Post is the online English Israeli newspaper that has cultivated the greatest readership among Israel-supporting Christians. Pray that the trend we are seeing towards them failing to mention the attempt to murder a Messianic family will not be left out of their coverage. Christians must see!

Pray also that the police – who have exhibited great reluctance to protect the Messianic Jews who are targeted by religious persecution – not be allowed to also cover up ANY evidence in this case. See SOME of the security surveillance video and a synopsis of the case from David and Leah

Pray for the financial needs of all those believers currently suffering persecution – also for grace to be poured out on them. For refreshing from the great weariness of day in and day out troubling.

Pray for the souls of those who are showing the truth of the apostle Paul’s statement that they are “enemies of the gospel”. Pray with the heart that understands “but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.”

Pray for all those who will be entering Israel from the nations until the end of the year for the purpose of intercession over the Beer Sheva case – pray for mountain moving faith to plow up the hardened ground in many hearts, that scales may fall for eyes and the Truth be seen.

Pray for Arad – since the rabbi who led much of the persecution against believers died suddenly in late Sept the atmosphere in Arad has intensified against the believers. Pray for breakthroughs.

Thank God for how the believers – in all their diversity – are banding together to help each other, not only in persecutions, but also in financial lack and other areas of practical brotherly love. Speak increase and that every need be met in the Name of Yeshua.

Pray for congregations in Israel. Many are struggling in the downturned economy. In the first century when a worldwide famine was prophesied, Christians in Antioch said, We must send provision to our brothers in Israel – this famine will be even harder on them! (Acts 11:28 reading between the lines) It is the same conditions today and the same response is need.

Continue to pray for “the latter rains” – literally and spiritually. The winter rains began early – on a day of national prayer the believers met to pray for salvation to come, the first shower came down. Still much rain is need – literally and spiritual. Pray for God’s promised outpouring on the dry ground.

Evangelism is happening in Israel among indigenous believers. The individual lives of believers are declaring the power of the salvation in Yeshua. Pray for those who labor in the LORD’s harvest fields and for the equipping of the saints they are doing for the work of the ministry.

Lift up those who are suffering from illness among the believers; those who are coping with the deaths of loved ones; those who are struggling in the troubles that are common to us all. Speak over them that God would turn all things to good for those who love Him and are called according to His purposes.

“He changed my life!” is being declared, and Yeshua is being made famous again in the streets of Israel.

Thank God for an arrest in cases of religious terrorism – for the bombing of Ami Ortiz and any other of the multitude of crimes this religious activist has confessed to. Pray that the truth would be made known and all conspiracies and accomplices would not remain covered, but be unveiled publicly and held to account.

Pray for the hidden things to be exposed, for an honest reckoning based on the true facts to take place within Israeli society.

Pray that Christian Zionists in Israel do not be quick to accept less than full disclosure of the facts of this case of terrorism on the part of religious settler activists. Honoring of the truth and not sweeping under the carpet what will remain a danger or threat to Israeli citizens – believers or not!

Awakening for believers worldwide to discern the Lord’s Body in Israel – and respond accordingly.

Pray for the believer attorneys who labor in Israel representing the believers – not only in their civil and religious rights as stated by the national law – but also against false accusations in the courts. In ARAD there are 30 cases pending against believers – false accusations leveled by ultra-Orthodox in daily persecution of the believers of Arad.

The Beer Sheva trial date is Nov 23rd. Pray for the spiritual forces of darkness to be broken in this last day of testimony. For the truth to be exposed, for eyes to see the truth in the court, the media covering the case and the public. Declare breakthroughs for truth and even justice to prevail.

There are cases of serious persecution taking place that we are aware of – people who are targeted who do not want their stories told here. BUT THEY COVET YOUR PRAYERS.

As the rains have been released in Israel, pray more physical and spiritual rain to fall on the dry ground in the Land. Like the little cloud that was only the size of man’s hand, yet the prophet saw the drought breaking rains were coming – Let us declare the RELEASE of RAIN in the natural and spiritual within Israel.

Many have been given visions by the Lord that are pressing into deadline situations. These involve expanding our tent pegs to make room for what is coming. How can tents be expanded unless resources are released? Declare breakthroughs for those who having done all, now stand believing in the visions God has given them.

These signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Believe with us for signs and wonders to follow these ministries.

Blessing and anointing upon Israeli ministries in foreign nations – Germany, the U.S., Italy, the Orient – in every place their feet shall tread speak Divine connections.

Bless the use of technologies in reaching new audiences and creating connections between the believers in the four corners of the earth with Israeli believers. Bless the Divine networks.

Pray that the ministries will put in positions of resources to hire support staff from the greater community of believers in Israel. Our best investment is in the kingdom of God and in the people of God who are following after Yeshua.

Many Israeli Jewish believers reach out to minister also to Palestinians, Druze, Bedouin – some are anointed for that, as other are anointed to reach fellow Jews. Speak blessings on the heads of these – covering, grace, anointing and provision to demonstrate the heart of God to all.

Again, sudden loss of homes is a frequent story we hear from Israeli ministries. Whether by pressure from gospel opposers on the landlords, or just being a renter at the mercy of someone who suddenly sells the house out from under them – Pray for those going through this and for the Lord to make a way for ownership of their own properties.

Whatever season a ministry is in pray for there to be fruitfulness and wisdom; also clarity of hearing the direction of the Lord for such a time as this.

Thank God for the Judge allowing Lura & Eddie to leave Israel for 2 months and good indications in their case to end house arrest. The judge told their lawyer that there are 30 court cases pending of Haredi complaints against various believers in Arad. THIS IS SOMETHING TO APPEAL TO THE HIGHEST COURT!

Pray blessing going out and coming in for Israeli ministries who are touching base with supporters worldwide and ministering to those whose hearts God has stirred with an eagerness to hear what Yeshua is doing in Israel. Grace, Anointing, Favor and Blessing to be the continual path before these.

Thank God for the opportunities to minister that the Holy Spirit orchestrates for believers to share the love of Messiah with their neighbors, friends and families. Thank God for the fields that are white unto the harvest and for the laborers in the Israeli field. Pray that every need would be met – spiritual and material.

While Israel’s political situation always seems to be on the verge of chaos…don’t forget Israel’s ultimate need for an advocate before the Father and Judge of all. That advocate is, of course, Yeshua the Messiah. Speak an opening of eyes and the breath of the Spirit to enter the standing, dry bones.

Pray for a RELEASE on all the HINDERING, BINDING RESTRAINTS holding back the visions from the Lord taking flight among the Israeli ministries – a RELEASE to SOAR, to FLY AMONG the EAGLES with EVERY VISION given by GOD. Speak that the tethers that have bound visions to the ground to be LOOSED in the Name above all names!

Continue to pray for the upcoming final trial date in Beer Sheva for Howard Bass and the Yeshua’s Inheritance Congregation. It is a case with impact for all Israeli believers. Also inside is information on how you can help with the cost of the lawsuit which is being represented by attorneys who are also believers in Yeshua.

Pray for the Church to begin to awaken to the truth of the apostle Paul’s statement: “Concerning the gospel they are enemies”. Christians understand the last part of the verse “concerning the election they are beloved” but we are not wise to comprehend the depth of reality that many are ENEMIES of the gospel.

STAND WATCH over where your seed is planted in Israel – for we are accountable. With one hand Christian contributions are received by Israeli unbelievers and with the other hand Israeli Believers are persecuted through Christian funding….and we must wise up and not be conned by disingenuous relations.


If you have not read the special report I sent out over the weekend, Jew on Jew Terrorism - Police May Have a Confession in the Ami Ortiz Case - please do. When the gag order lifts and the story breaks in Israel it is going to be told in much different terms by voices in Israel that many of you listen to – like Nadia Matar of Women in Green, Israel National News, and other religious-nationalist settler spokesmen. They are already laying a foundation of accusations against the Israeli Security Services to deflect the acts of one of them who was arrested in early October for violent terrorist acts – Jew on Jew violence.

This is going to be a case to try the souls of not only Israelis, but also Christians and Messianics who have been supporting these groups. The line between right and wrong has become so blurred that they think “all means are justified” – just as Yuval Azoulay wrote in Haaretz recently (“Unbelievable”).

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. It will come through the agency of the people of the Messiah standing as a witness to the people of the Book in the Land of the Promise.

Anti-missionary Organizations May be Watching You

If you are a Messianic Jew or a Christian with a heart for evangelism, there is a good chance that you are being spied upon and carefully monitored by a very dangerous group of organizations, whose members will stop at nothing to get what they want. Masquerading under the guise of the “protectors of Judaism,” anti-missionary organizations such as Yad Le’Achim, Lev Le’Achim, and Jews for Judaism systematically promulgate vicious propaganda, inciting hatred and sometimes even violent actions aimed at Christians and Messianic Jews worldwide.

Illegal Political Work According to Yad Le’Achim’s USA website – maintained by the contributions of often well-meaning American Jews who are unaware of the group’s malicious nature – “Yad Le’Achim fights the missionaries in a variety of ways, some of which, due to their sensitive nature, can’t be described in detail.”

Reliable sources have revealed to JIJ that anti-missionary organizations consistently submit information to the Israeli Ministry of Interior regarding local and international Messianics, so that the Messianics may be “blacklisted”, prevented from immigrating to Israel and denied other basic civil rights. We have also learned that Jews for Judaism activists often brief Jewish Agency officials in the US on the subject of how to “spot” a Messianic Jew and prevent him or her from immigrating to Israel. Such organizations pride themselves on having “spies” within Messianic Jewish congregations, who see all that goes on.

The propaganda repeatedly promulgated in the religious press in Israel equates every Messianic Jew to being a missionary and every missionary to be worse than Hitler or the Palestinian terrorists. “What does Hamas want? The land. (The Messianics) want something else: our souls…” the leader of Yad Le’Achim recently told an Israeli daily. More can be read here.

Additionally, these organizations have recently stepped up their campaign of illegal public slander directed against local Messianic Jewish and Christian leaders in Israel. Anti-missionary activists often hang posters in public areas on which are printed the names, addresses, and pictures of Messianic and Christian leaders, along with insulting captions.

We at the JIJ are concerned that such actions may lead to further crimes against the Messianic community, such as was recently the case in a small West Bank town called Ariel. In late 2007, such posters were distributed in Ariel and aimed at David Ortiz, the local Messianic leader. Just a few months later, Mr. Ortiz’s son Amiel was seriously injured when a bomb blew up in his face after being delivered to the Ortiz home. Some suspect that anti-Missionary activists were behind not only the posters, but perhaps even the bombing itself.

You Can Help The greater Messianic and Christian community must not sit in silence as its members are attacked on a daily basis. Almost unbelievably, we are aware of a few well-meaning Messianic and Christian organizations that have been tricked into funding anti-missionary organizations, because these groups claim to “advance Jewish values.” If you live in the United States, we encourage you to write to your local governmental representatives, asking them to help us in our battle to disband the US branches of anti-missionary organizations. PRAISE THE LORD! For news of an arrest made in the terror bombing of Ami Ortiz in the Spring of 2008. The arrest of an Orthodox man was made 2 weeks ago though a gag order which will be in place on the news media until later this week has held back reporting on what appears to be a conspiracy with wider schemes than the horrific Purim bomb that targeted the Ortiz family in Ariel. Praise God and Pray Israeli officials get to the bottom of the conspiracy and all involved would be held accountable to the full extent of the law (for the sake of all the public).

A spate of honest, balanced articles has been coming forth from the Liberal, secular-oriented Haaretz newspaper regarding persecution against Messianic believers. One thing Americans especially should understand – although there is a Liberal, Secular Left and a Conservative, Religious Right in both Israel and the U.S. there are some extremely important difference between to the – especially when it comes to religious freedoms. Pray for more Christians to get this distinction and thank God for honest press about the Body of Messiah in Israel!

Continue to pray ahead of the resumption of the Beer Sheva congregation court case on Nov. 23. Critical case!

Pray for deepening relationships between Israeli Messianic Jews and Palestinian Christian Arabs as they hold annual events together in the next weeks.

Continue to lift up all the Israeli ministries traveling to the four corners of the world – that they bring the Aaronic blessing to the nations, declare the gospel of the kingdom and return blessed by their hosts in all nations.

“Praise awaits You in Zion O LORD!” The Israeli Body is lifting up its voice to Messiah saying, Baruch haba b’Shem Adonai. Pray the anointed Psalmists of the Body in Israel be heard into the Heavens . “Their line (qav) is gone out through all the earth, and their words (millah) to the end of the world.” Psalm 19:4

Join your voice in prayer for the salvation of Jews and Arabs in Israel and the Palestinian controlled areas. There is no other road map to peace but the highway of righteousness, peace and joy in Messiah Yeshua.

Pray for Israeli congregations and ministries who are pouring out the Balm of Gilead on the wounds of its people.

Pray for those who heard the good news of the gospel over the High Holidays at Israeli Messianic congregational gatherings, to be wooed by the Holy Spirit and ushered by faith into the kingdom of the Yeshua Messiah. For the seeds that have been planting to starting breaking forth in the soil of hearts turned to Him.

Pray for the wisdom of God’s Spirit to rest upon the leadership of the Israeli Body of Messiah – for greater clarity over the issues of faith they have been wrestling with and understanding of how it will ultimately influence the Messianic communities throughout the Diaspora. “For out of Zion the law shall go forth….”

Pray for RELEASE of all properties, permits, funds and other needful items that Israeli ministries are waiting on the LORD for relating to ministry operations and expanding their tent pegs. SPEAK RELEASE! RELEASE! RELEASE! In the Name which all other names must bow to – our Yeshua.

Lift up the pastors all those Israeli ministries who do outreach among the different people groups in the Land of Israel – the Arabs, the Druze, the Bedouin, the Ethiopian, the Russian, the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking Jews. Like a little melting pot of cultures, pray for these ministries to be anointed and funded to carry the gospel into these communities.

There are many troubling things happening internationally and the stress of the world is pressing in on believers everywhere - How much more the Israelis? Pray for the faith of God’s people to rise up so we might stand as beacons of hope in the Lord in the midst of an increasing scary encroachment of evil in our societies. Peace still the hearts of all those who love the LORD and are called according to HIS PURPOSES.

The world seems to be in so much chaos at this time – urgent prayer needs on every side from within our own families, to our troubled nation and onto the realms we have been assigned as watchmen in the nations. It is times like these when we must know that the burdens are not to be borne on our shoulders, but upon His. Let us lift our concerns to the One who sits on High – releasing it to Him so we may not be overwhelmed.

Psalm 61:2-4 From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.

Salvations in Israel are rising like the river of life – like the prophetic vision of Ezekiel 47:2-5 where the river is rising from the ankles to the knees to the thighs and ends up rising so deep that one cannot stand in it but must swim. These are the days to pray for indigenous outreach, evangelism, discipling and congregation planting in Israel.

Please pray for the resources of Israeli ministries. Many with effective ministries are going without being able to draw personal salary the last several months. You can only do that so long. This is good soil to sow your financial seed it – their lack is our collective failure to supply the needs of these critical ministries. (Philippians 2:29-30)

ARAD continues to be a hot spot of anti-missionary and police collusion in the persecution of believers in that small town. The death last month of the chief instigator – Arad’s chief rabbi – has increased the agitated atmosphere over the town. Pray for the eyes of many to be suddenly opened in a Damascus Road revelation of Messiah; and protection of the saints.

Thank God for how He is opening the spirits of saints of Asia to the Body of Messiah in Israel. Pray that God will cause this mighty army of intercessors to catch the vision of the critical harvest the indigenous believers are engaged in among their countrymen.

Thank God for the hearts of Arab Christian pastors who are not only in union with their Israeli Messianic Jewish counterparts, but who are bold witnesses of the gospel among their people in Israel and in Palestinian controlled areas. At often risk of life, and in much material lack, these are lives that layed down to the purposes of God.

Pray for God to sit as the Highest Court in all the court cases that Israeli believers are involved in – from the Beer Sheva major case resuming Nov 23, to the several court cases believers in Arad face, to the judgment compliance case of the believer-owned bakery – Let God arise and the enemies of His WORD be scattered & run in defeat!

Pray for much fruit to be borne from the seeds that were sown by believers during the High Holy Days among their families, neighbors, friends and communities. One sows, another waters and God causes the increase – speak the Light of Salvation to break upon many.

There is a new international political alignment, but the same old machinations against Israel. We stand before the One who watches over Israel without so much as a break to sleep, and agree with His WORD: No weapon formed against Israel shall prosper and every accusing tongue that rises we call down in the Name of Yeshua to become “stunted” and “failing.” No word curses shall prevail over the will of God for Israel and her people.

Pray for an awakening in the nations about the creeping deception of Islamic terrorism and a breaking of the fog of deception that rests over so many who desire to be equitable to all but are indeed fooled be demonic deception. Pray for a great awakening among those who are held captive by the Islamic cult of death- freed to spiritual life!

Pray for an awakening among the people of God – those who emotionally support the religious extremists who want to take the Temple Mount by any means – that this is a Jehu plan not a David plan for establishing the kingdom.

Pray also that the annual High Holy Days stirring up of Palestinian passions to “save the Temple Mount” from Israeli ‘takeover’ would begin to be suppressed. Speak a dousing of those fires that a 3rd Intifada will not be ignited. Speak a suppression on ALL the flames of passions toward violence. Speak Peace over Jerusalem.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Pray for the ‘family resemblance’ to be upon all the indigenous believers of Israel – Jew, Arab, Christians from the nations. The glory of the Lord is bearing His likeness to our world.

Speak anointing and blessing upon every place where two or three are gathered in the Name of Yeshua – for their prayers to be mixed with faith to see the requests hoped for from the LORD.

Pray for the voices of Israeli ministries – from the long established to the new works of second generation believers – to be increasingly heard. Many are a voice to their own people, others a voice to educate the Church. To whomever they are sent, may they be heard and their missions from the Lord fulfilled.

We speak blessings on the new schools being established to train the next generation of spiritual leaders in both Jewish and Arab believer communities. Two such works have recently begun in the city of Haifa. Pray for resources, anointing and sound doctrine to be experience of all who teach and learn there.

A media campaign in Haifa is proclaiming “He changed my life!” on buses and other locations in Haifa. Response has already been powerful. Pray for the boldness of those in the outreach, for much fruit and also for protection from enemies of the gospel.

There are many Israeli ministries still traveling throughout the nations. Pray God would be with them in every way, their congregations and families covered in their absence and much fruit to be borne in every place their feet shall tread.

We believe that the Messianic movement in Israel will be a spark of revival for the nations in the end times. Just as there is an agricultural harvest at the time of Sukkot (the end of the biblical holy days), so will there be a great harvest of souls at the end of the age. Pray for the significance of the prophetic Feasts of the Lord to be unveiled to the Church so we may be a partner in this move of God in Israel.

A political scandal expose in the Israeli newspapers has uncovered a case of a Knesset Member accused of pocketing $10,000 from a Messianic Jewish ministry in the U.S. that was supposed to go to help Ethiopian refugees in Israel. Apparently the Kadima politician had requested $7,000 from the Messianic Ministry for his campaign deficit and an additional $10,000 was thrown in for aid to the Ethiopian immigrant community…. My Word is that this is just another reason why I do not like seeing either Christian or Messianic Jewish humanitarian contributions in Israel routed through individuals or organizations outside of the indigenous believing community.

At the end of the Feast of Tabernacles is Simchat Torah, where the cycle of Torah readings has been completed and it is time to roll back the scroll to Genesis 1. This roll back is a picture of how God’s dealings with mankind have been revealed in history – first rolling out, then being rolled back in again to the fulfillment of His original purpose: “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.”

He has never veered off this purpose, and in fact the goal is repeated in Eph 2:15-16,” …to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross…” May we be so aligned with God’s purposes and flowing in agreement with all His plans for us.

The Fall Feasts of the Lord – Rosh HaShana (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and Succot (Feast of Tabernacles) – think their prophetic value has passed? Then you will be surprised when the full-fillment unfolds. Time to learn what these mean in the gospel of the kingdom – have you not heard the sound of the shofar blasts?

The dangers that surround Israel are not abstract – altho God Himself will allow no one to wipe Israel off the map – many Israelis could die as the demonized attempt it. Biblical precedents show us this is true. Therefore, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, the seat of the government of Israel, for the LORD to show Himself strong for Israel.

God’s plan, as the apostle Paul encapsulated it in Ro 9-11, is for “all Israel” to be saved. If it looks impossible, is this not exactly the circumstances God likes to reveal Himself in. Let the midwives agree with the plan of the LORD as His faithful servant communicated it and as it is manifesting in the raising up of His Body within Israel.

Pray for those believers who are going about daily lives planting the seeds of harvest in the communities of Israel with neighbors and strangers met along the way. Pray for boldness to be themselves – the selves that Yeshua living within their hearts has made them….and for water on the seeds to make them grow and produce fruit.

It is no cake walk to go live as a citizen of Israel – life is extremely difficult even more difficult than everyone is warned it will be. Yet these are lives laid down to the LORD’s harvest in Israel. Pray for grace, covering and provision for the visions given to these faithful servants. Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

Many in Israel are traumatized by living as targets of extremist hatred. Pray for the believers doing humanitarian aid among these groups – from citizens of Sderot to Holocaust survivors. When ‘air raid sirens’ sound – Israelis are gripped from Kiryat Shmona to Jerusalem to Eilat. No weapon formed against them shall prosper.

As one Israeli pastor’s wife so poignantly wrote: “our daily lives, living as everything is okay and as usual, and at the same time living on a barrel of explosives.” Jews and Arabs alike in Israel are responding to the HOPE of ISRAEL – the only Prince of Peace. Pray for the Holy Spirit to pour out dreams, visions, signs and wonders to accompany the testimony of faith.

Pray for the unsaved government and military leaders of Israel. We see biblical precedent after precedent that leaders do not have to be saved for God to use them to fulfill His purposes. Pray for wisdom, moral courage and Divine guidance to rest upon the leaders and protectors of Israel. Anointing upon believers serving.

Continue to pray for all those involved in the critical lawsuit in the Beer Sheva courts as it comes to the final court proceedings Nov 23, with a judgment on Dec 23. How Israel protects her believers within her will greatly impact how the Lord deals with her as a nation. “With the merciful You wilt show Yourself merciful” Learn more here.

Many people believe to sow on “good ground” they must sow UP – to prosperous ministries, not DOWN to ministries suffering lack. When God sowed His best, His Son, HE SOWED DOWN to those in need. Good ground is not determined by worldly standards of prosperity, but by whether the kingdom of God is being advanced.

There is opposition to the FACT of the BODY of the LORD in ISRAEL – within the Church, within the Jewish people, within the unsaved of the nations. Our FAMILY TIES are through YESHUA/JESUS – it is the BLOOD LINE we must hold dear to our hearts. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the coming together of ONE NEW MAN.

Pray for an exceptional amount of rainfall upon Israel as the rainy season finally arrives – one that will break the drought and fill the Land with refreshing natural water. Let it be a representation of the spiritual rains being released in Israel.

Pray for the ministries who are traveling to spread the good news of the Messiah through the nations; to tell of the great things God is doing among the Jews of Israel; and the reconciliation works that He is doing between people groups who have been ripped asunder by historical traumas. God is on the move and so are Israeli ministries. Speak blessing upon them.

Events over the past few weeks should have underscored that to “be in power” is not the same thing as “showing leadership”. We are seeing major shifts in international leadership with Israel, France and Germany showing leadership and those in power in the U.S. and U.K. go all wobbly in providing leadership.

Pray that God will raise up His leaders to do His will in this time of shifting powers – both in the realm of governments (natural) and in the Body (spiritual). Daniel 2:21 And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding.

Pray that we would keep our eyes on Yeshua, not being overwhelmed by fast moving developments in our world, but close to the heart of God, with His vision and priorities for all things before us. Even as He gives us eyes to see the big picture, that we also would have His spiritual eyes for those who are the closest to us – our own families.

Pray for government leaders and those in power to be conformed to the will of God; and for spiritual awakenings in all the nations as God raises up His leaders to accommodate the season of harvest.

Islamic terrorism – whether in lone wolf acts or in the threatening acts of nations like Iran – continues to wield a mesmerizing deception over many in our world. Pray for a breaking of blindness off the faces in all the nations and for the truth to prevail rather than being lulled into being passively overtaken.

Pray for Yeshua/Jesus to be revealed to Muslims increasingly – for mercy and grace to be poured out that many can escape the grip of the cult of death.

Pray that we can perceive the spiritual and prophetic Word of the Lord in the biblical Feasts. Pray that no matter where we are in our understanding of God’s plan for Israel, that we begin to perceive beyond the limitations of our past perceptions – that we hear what the Spirit is saying to us today.

The promises of God to return salvation to Israel are so abundant in the scriptures. Speak them out to God, in agreement with His will that “all Israel” be saved and that day by day Jewish souls be added to the kingdom of His Son.

Pray for the believers of Arad. There is a prevailing spirit of religious persecution and corruption of justice that hovers over the city. Pray those spirits are pulled down and release of Holy Spirit to displace and prevail. The number of believers under house arrest is increasing – this is placing the victims under arrest. Appeal to a HIGHER COURT for their release.

Like a microcosm of the greater Body, the Body in Israel has issues that cause disunity and fragmentation of ‘family members.’ Pray for the bonds of peace and brotherly love to prevail – for the Holy Spirit to intervene in issues of conflict; for the true peace of His will to prevail in all the relationships in conflict.

Continue to lift up the attorneys, the judge and all those involved in the Beer Sheva lawsuit. Important rulings have been made, but we must pray for God’s will to bring the outcome in the Nov 23 trial date and judicial decions in Dec.

Speak blessing over the South Korean Christian filmmakers who have been document the restoration of Israel and the status of believers in the Land. Pray that the Korean prayer warriors would be given revelation of God’s will in the Body in Israel. That the filmmakers see clearly and communicate it with power in their documentary.

Speak blessing over all the Israeli ministries and congregations who have heard the word of the Lord to begin to expand their tents in preparation for the coming harvest. In the early days of small beginnings, it is hard to see how big visions will ever be done. Pray for encouragement – and for help to come to establish the visions.

Pray for the new works being established, like Jewels in the Crown. The LORD their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they shall be like the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land—

Pray for the indigenous ministries who are reaching the Israeli Jews from the former Soviet Union – which are many. Also for the Ethiopian outreaches. Those who feel like outsiders in their ancient homeland, be made to know they are accepted in the beloved of the LORD.

Ami continues to experience healing in the year and half after being the victim of a religious terror bombing. Pray for God to continue to use this young man and his family as a sign and a wonder in Israel. That the Light would so shine from their lives.

May this be the testimony of all Israeli congregations: “As an Israeli congregation have been able to develop our own style of worship and liturgy that demonstrates our love and commitment to Yeshua as Lord, yet in a clearly Jewish expression of faith – one that embraces both Jews and Gentiles as full and equal partners.”

There are several Israeli ministers we know are in the process of writing books and developing other ministry materials. Pray that the anointing of God would be open them and the Holy Spirit would clearly speak the inspiration into their works.

As Germany emerges as a leader in international politics, it is not strange that this is a reflection of the spiritual exchange that has been going on for several years between German churches and Israeli ministries. Pray that God will continue to guide the spiritual path so that the government paths may reflect the will of God.

Pray for the little baby of the Silveira’s who head the Ha-MaKoM (The Place), The Bible House. Last report the baby was improving after being hospitalized, but no word as to the cause of illness. No weapon formed against this little one shall prosper.

This week I am seeing something as a thread in the Israeli ministries that I have found myself doing time and again when there seemed to be strong opposition bearing down on me: Instead of backing down and giving up, the Spirit within me rose up - pressing forward to expand the previous boundaries.

Pray with Israeli ministries as they respond to what the Spirit is saying to them at this time:

Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited. “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, and will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.

Thank God for the unseasonable rain in Israel as Israeli ministries met on 9/20 to worship, repent and pray for “All Israel” to be saved. Like a sign, the heavens opened with soft shower as leaders sang “Pour Out Your Grace like Rain.” Pray for literal and spiritual rains to fall upon the Land.

Pray for the perceived turning point for Israel ministries to shortly come to pass – for Israeli ministries to take their place among the leaders of the international body of Christ; for the Israeli Messianics to become part of the unity of the Body worldwide, for Israel to experience the rain of God in the reign of Messiah in hearts.

Pray for the outpouring of visions God is giving Israeli ministries to “enlarge your tents” – the increase of ministry capacities. Several have spoken of new visions given, others are works already in progress – all are FAITH VISIONS that require response with those who perceive the impact of salvation breaking forth in Israel.

Wanted: Intercessors! Several Israeli ministries have recently requested intercessors to join with them specifically to pray over the details of their visions (Guy Cohen, the Lotan’s and others). Pray for the Body in Israel as a whole, but also follow the leading of the Lord to dig deeper into individual ministry needs.

Ask Abba to bless outreach efforts via internet and web technologies like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter; That the connections will increase and multiply for Israeli ministries.

Thank God for Israeli Messianic Jews ministering to Bedouin and Arab Muslims and Druze with the anointing of the Lord to answer their questions! Thank God for salvations – pray for protection of all these new believers.

Financial lack continues to an issue among MANY Israeli ministries. Speak RELEASE of much needed funds. Many stand in need of a miracle to meet their budgets. Ask the Lord to move on hearts to be a blessing.

Thank God for great testimonies coming out of the Elav youth and young adults conference put on by Succat Hallel a couple of weeks ago. Thank God for the spirit of boldness that is being nurtured in this generation of Israeli believers – and for all the spiritual fathers and mothers who are nurturing it.

Pray for those ministries involved in seeking or renovations to new ministry buildings – for the LORD to give favor to cut through red tape and regulations, and the myriad of issues they must grapple with.

Pray for the sick and the bereaved among the Body in Israel – for grace to be poured out; for covering over all the immune systems of the believers against Swine Flu. Pray for God to heal and raise up those on sick beds.

Pray for those who will be welcoming Christians from the nations during the Fall Festival season – for the conference to be full, for breakthroughs in brotherly bonds between Christians and BELIEVERS in Israel, for God to give increase of revelation among Christians about the spiritual Family Tree in Israel.

Pray for the Body of Christ in the United States – one of Israel’s longest standing alliances – to prevail in the spiritual warfare that is going on almost every level for the soul of the nation.

Pray for President Obama to be given a supernatural revelation – like that of Balaam forging ahead in a path the LORD opposed or that of Nebuchadnezzar, who was broken from pride to know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men.

As ministries in Israel gather to prepare their hearts before God before the new year (Rosh Hashana) begins, we are invited to prepare our hearts and will to align with the “new thing” the Lord desires to do in the salvation of Israel.

The ministries in Israel continue to serve their own communities – outreach to believers and unbelievers alike. Pray over them all that the signs and wonders will follow their witness of the power of Yeshua throughout the Land. Pray for healing, deliverance, and revival to spread.

Israeli ministries continue to travel through the nations – both to former homelands and to the four corners of the earth. Pray the anointing, blessing and favor of the Lord to rest upon them as they go in and out with the hand of the Lord upon all they do.

Some Israeli ministries continue to suffer persecution daily – for example the Beckford’s who remain under house arrest - seemingly because the legal system is not willing to employ other solutions to protect Eddie and Lura from being assaulted by religious groups trying to run them out of the village of Arad. Pray for grace – and for them to be remembered as shut-ins during this busy holiday season. The Lord does not forget them.

Israeli ministries will gather to cry out to the Lord for His will to prevail in the final trial dates and judgment of the Beer Sheva congregation trial. Israeli ministries stand with Howard Bass of Yeshua’s Inheritance congregation in Beer Sheva in the lawsuit that came out of the Dec 24, 2005 invasion by a mob. Pray for grace on the Bass family and their attorneys, and for every legal expense to be met. This case is understood as representing the whole Body of Messiah in Israel.

Pray for all the Israeli ministries who will be hosting Christians from the nations during the upcoming Fall Feasts. Pray for an awakening among many Christians who travel to Israel on pilgrimage to the discovery of what God is doing among the believers in the Land of Israel. Lasting connections to be made with believers in Israel.

Pray for the stories of victims of violent persecutions – Christian Arabs like the murdered Rami Ayyad or Messianic Jewish bomb victim Ami Ortiz – to be told and heard throughout the Christian world. Ami’s mom asks for prayer for a successful police investigation in Ami’s case, which she believes police are actively working on the case now.

Pray for Israeli ministries reaching out in new ways including technologies Skype conferences, video blogs – the new communications that make our communities more in touch. Also for new generation who are reaching their generation through music and other interests anointed by God.

Thank God for Christians who understand that it is “of God” to use the “Feasts of the Lord” to speak to Israel in these days. Pray that in this holiday season, indeed, the Spirit would lift the veil and reveal His marvelous work of salvation to the Jewish people.

As the Hebrew year of 5770 begins, pray it will be a year salvation is poured out in Israel. As one Israeli ministry writes: “The years in Hebrew are counted in letters, not in digits. So it creates words, which sometimes have a meaning. The letters of the coming year will create the root word "TA-SHA", from which we derive the words salvation and savior.”
