We have never been closer to the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon Israeli Jews since Acts chapter 2 - and not only that, but it will be like Psalm 133 prophesies "like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down on the collar of his robe". It will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that spread throughout the nations!

Let's pray to understand and take hold of this throughout the international Church and the Messianic Body of Messiah.

NOTE: From time to time some of the Israeli Ministries fall off my radar; I just don't receive emails from them anymore and because I am fielding so many each week, sometimes it takes a while to even realize someone is missing. In this case, I had assumed that Brian Slater of Abundant Bread of Salvation had just focused his communications efforts on Facebook instead of emails. Ministries that don't have big staffs to help out often change up the way they do support outreach. But in this case, Brian was wondering why I never posted his ministry emails anymore so he finally emailed me to ask. I'm so glad he did, because something - not him and not me - changed so I was no longer receiving his emails. It pays to speak up! Please do.

Brian Slater does humanitarian outreach from one of my favorite seaside Israeli cities of Netanya. His ministry is Abundant Bread of Salvation and he blesses the needy and Holocaust survivors, especially. Not only do they provide the basic necessities of food and clothing, but they also take the Holocaust survivors on day trips to other parts of Israel that many have never seen, like the sea of Galilee. There the people are treated to music by local Messianic worship artists, a visit to the Galilee Experience, a boat ride across the Galilee, a trip to a Messianic art gallery and much more. “Get ready, be prepared, watch and see what I the Lord am ready to do beyond your vast imagination. Again I say, be prepared, the floods are coming, the harvest is ready.” This is the word of the LORD that Avi Mizrachi of Dugit and congregation Adonai Roi in Tel Aviv received in a dream recently. From Maoz Ministries, ministry writer Katy details ongoing political rumblings in Israel, and missile fire from Gaza. Almost every nation in the world is undergoing intense political upheaval in its leadership. Rather than going into the details, I believe we must be praying that regardless of what it looks like, we pray that God's will for each nation will prevail. Sometimes the 'medicine' is bitter to the taste, but the final outcome is healing. This may be what we are in for in many nations across the globe.

One thing we know is NOT the will of God, and that is that any should perish without Yeshua. Katy writes: Please PRAY for the rocket and RPG attacks to stop. PRAY for safety for all Israelis living near the border with Gaza. PRAY for protection for innocent citizens of the Gaza Strip, who are being used as human shields by Hamas and other terrorists based there.

Seeing lots of birth announcements from Israeli Ministries on Facebook lately. We send Mazal tov to the Hydes for the son Shayla and Ariel had last week. We also received the very sad news of the loss of their babe in the womb from Stefan and Karen Silver. We send them our deepest condolences in this great sorrow.

Evan Thomas from the Netanya Beit Asaph congregation is still working hard to overcome the serious arm fractures he got months ago. It's been very painful but he is pressing toward re-gaining the use of his arm in things we take for granted, like driving or using garden tools. He is really focused on being able to handle a fishing rod by Jan 2017 when they have a return visit to Australia. Wife Maala is in her final term of school for her career in education. Evan writes, "The next 12 months will involve a significant amount of travel for both of us with Maala doing her fair share of speaking and teaching. We are excited about this!"

On the congregational front, Evan's ministry associate Pastor Lev is busy with discipling, baptizing and even launching a 3-month Hebrew Ulpan program that teaches immigrants the Hebrew language using scriptural text. This has many of their students very excited to participate. Evan writes, "One of the ways we alleviate the pressure of language is by adopting the western model of home groups – each based on a single language suited to its participants. . . . these home groups serve to form a solid ‘spiritual backbone’ where more personal ministry can take place. Please pray that these same groups would also develop a vision for outreach to ‘the lost and needy’ of society around us." One last word of great encouragement from Evan: "The state of the State: Looking at our present security situation in Israel one could easily despair or choose to live in a continual state of denial. Neither helps – it is what it is! We have a mandate to pray and our faith certainly links us to our brothers and sisters in Messiah from all around the world – especially when God has our attention about what He is doing in this amazing Land. We often hear Christian visitors remark about how special it is "to walk in the land where Jesus once walked." All-too-often my own response is, “But you know – He is still walking here!” The Body of Messiah is alive and well and active.

When Asher Intrater was in Dallas, he spoke at Destiny Church in Rockwall, Texas. There was only an audio tape made of the message, but it was one of the most spiritually jam-packed messages I've ever heard on God's plans for Israel and the Church. From Asher's Revive Israel Ministries, Daniel Juster gives insight on the relationship that the Tikkun Ministries began to establish with Mike Bickle at KC-IHOP in 1990. Dan writes, "The connection came through John Wimber. In those days, it was called Kansas City Fellowship. A decade later the International House of Prayer was founded, which is an expression of the original prophetic vision given to Mike Bickle in 1984. The prophecy was that Mike was called as a catalyst of a prayer movement that would lead to 100 million people praying for the salvation of Israel. I was part of the beginnings of IHOP and was able to present the importance of the Messianic Jewish restoration. This led to annual Israel Mandate Conferences where Asher Intrater, Eitan Shishkoff, and I were primary presenters."

From the Hasdey (Mercy) of Yeshua congregation in Arad is a very wonderful testimony about Yo-Yakim Figeuras' mother, and the honor that Israel gave her as a non-Jew who risked everything to save Jewish people during the dark days of the Nazi occupation of Europe. Hannah, who was born in Holland, was just a toddler when the Nazis invaded, but her father worked to save Jewish friends and provided food coupons he was able to get to share with other families hiding Jewish people in their homes. The story of Yo-Yakim's grandfather is kept in the Israel Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem. Hannah's story was shared with the young people of the congregation as part of their Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day observance to make the holiday more real to the young people. There are also prayer requests for the Arad believers, including a great praise report for Polly Sigulim and requests for prayers for her ministry operation Ark in the Negev, a refugee for women that must find a new physical location by July.

A super report from Christian Arab Prayer Warrior, Rania Sayegh in the Nazareth-based HOPE: House of Prayer and Exploits on their February conference, "For Such A Time As This". God is doing something among these women that is a great delight!

Last but certainly not least we have the report from Eddie Santoro in Jerusalem's Ahavat (Love of) Yeshua congregation. You can certainly hear the pastor's heart in Eddie as he writes, "As I attend our weekly meetings, I am continually impressed with the deposit of the Holy Spirit that I see in each person. As a pastor I try to encourage each to recognize this and to step out in faith. Everyone is unique and no one can take the place and calling of another. God has chosen and equipped each of us to do our part. In the Kingdom of God there are no unimportant people! No one is better, no one is worse. Each one of us is called to move out in faith and express what we have been given in order that the life and power of Yeshua would fill out meetings."

Continuing, "Two thousand years ago, Yeshua gathered people together and He lived out the life of God that was in him. The sick were healed. The demon possessed were set free and the dead were raised to life. Those who suffered rejection and abuse felt the love of God for the first time, and that love healed their wounds. It was miraculous, it was exciting! Today the Body has the same calling. If it is to draw many to Him, it must be an expression of God's love, power and life. Though I am grateful for all that is happening today, there is a longing in my heart for "MORE". We want and need more power, more love, more of His life. We yearn to see the signs and wonders that declare his wondrous presence."

"Please keep praying for us in Jerusalem. And we will keep praying for you. Wherever you are and whatever you do. As we each move out boldly in the gifts that we have been given, we will see God's magnificent Kingdom manifest in Israel, in Jerusalem and throughout the nations of the earth. To Him be all the glory."

Once again, we thank you for being faithful to the call to pray for the Israeli Ministries, who are truly the hands and feet of Yeshua touching the people of Israel today. Who would not want to be a part of that?

A great report from Eddie Santoro of Ahavat Yeshua in Jerusalem on the results of the latest MRI after brain surgery for cancer: No signs of cancer and scarring area is thinner, which is very good. As doctors often do, there was a disclaimer attached to the report that the MRI cannot see every possible cancer cell - yet the Santoro's express faith in God's word from Nahum 1:9, “Whatever the enemy plots against the Lord he will bring to an end; Trouble will not come a second time.” This is the prayer declared over Eddie every morning, a good one we can add our "amen" to in agreement. While we are on this subject, David Davis from the HaCarmel congregation is also recovering from cancer treatment and surgery that was done in a faith-filled environment of a Christian hospital facility in Mexico. Davis is also regaining strength and the congregation requests prayers for his full healing and restoration. This Nahum 1:9 promise is a good one to pray over pastor David, too.

Over the last 2 or 3 years there has been an uptick in life-threatening disease striking at the heart of Messianic shepherds in Israel. There are similar attacks against Christian spiritual leaders in the US appearing now as well. Let us pray for all these spiritual leaders in the family of God. When Job prayed for his friends - even those who had wrongly viewed and accused him - God restored Job's friends and his own life was restored to health, joy and prosperity.

Orna Greenman has a ministry to the widows and orphans of Israel, and God has opened her eyes to the much He has to say in His Word about individual "widows and orphans", but also about Israel, and her widowhood, "or rather her restoration from a status of a bereaved and ruined nation, into a glorious Bride." Recently Orna switched her primary means of communicating with supporters by developing a blog A Sign & An Example which is technically easier than producing a nice monthly ministry letter (how well I know!). Returning to the ministry letter from David Davis at Kehilat HaCarmel (Congregation of Carmel), Davis writes about the many outreaches they have conducted with the spring feasts and national holidays which have been going on in Israel over recent weeks. One delightful report of the Messianic Passover Seder they held for 130 mostly unbeliever Russian-speaking immigrants: "This was the first time they ever attended a Seder – and it was a Messianic Seder! At the end of the Seder many people prayed to receive Yeshua. One enthusiastic lady ran to the microphone overflowing with emotion, saying she never experienced such joy before!" Davis reflects back on the early days of establishing the congregation in the House of Victory in 1991. Sally Shiff is a dear prayer warrior attached to the Kehilat Hamaayan in Kfar Saba (Congregation of the Wellspring) shich is led by Tony and Orna Sperandeo. Having just spent the past two months in the US - an emergency visit to secure her 90-year old mother in a senior care environment, Sally writes about how God "cared for me, used me to touch other lives, and touched my life in a never to be forgotten way." Because of a loved one in my own life who I've been working with for several years, I have a special place in my heart for those ministries in Israel whose ministries are devoted to the addicts and prostitutes - those that are so far out there that most do not want to deal with. Yet as Yeshua said, " “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” The ministries like Dov Bikas' Aviv Ministry, or Eric Benson's House of Victory, or my friend, Ronit Bender, who devotes herself to those who are living in hell on earth on the mean streets. These ministries all partner together in the work - there are so many in need.

Perhaps until we have our own in danger of disappearing in such an environment, we don't really get how much these ministries are laying down their lives to answer the heart of Yeshua to reach these people. This past couple of weeks I have been wrestling with such a danger, so Dov Bikas' ministry letter was especially touching to me this month as he spoke one drug addict who was "one of the most difficult people we tried to help. It was almost impossible to talk to him."

Yet one month ago the man made a decision to go to a partner rehab in Ashkelon. Ten years of plowing hard ground, then a decision that could change this man for eternity! In ministry, there is both broad outreach and individual outreach. One young couple associated with the 24/7 worship and prayer house, Succat Hallel, are a great example of doing both. Joel and Teresa Jelski are a young family involved in the local congregation, the 24/7 Succat Hallel ministry, outreach to Israel youth and also to Arab refugees fleeing Islamist violence in the surrounding nations. This month, however, their ministry letter focuses on a young Jerusalem female that they have been investing time over the past year. Now the young woman realizes how much she would spiritually benefit from a Discipleship Training School. She has locked into a YWAM program in New Zealand between July & December. She is working to save money, the Jelski's are committed to her for a certain amount and they also invite you to have a part in helping one young believer follow this spiritual desire. Israel Pochtar makes the announcement of a new congregational plant in Rishon LeZion, which will be led by a couple who were the very first people to get saved at the Beit Hallel congregation in Ashdod years ago. Priority Prayer Focus May 11, 2016

Beginning tonight at sundown, May 12 Israel will celebrate 68 years since the Israeli declaration of independence in 1948.

On that date the Heavenly event clock began ticking on the salvation of all Israel. Therefore is it any wonder that the rise in anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism (really, anti-Israel) has begun to rise again too? Yet all the demonic hatred in the world is not enough to stop the plan of God through Messiah Yeshua.

Happy Birthday Israel. the LORD delights in you and soon will arise to put an end to the hatred that has been beamed at you. It is only because the Lord said through Jeremiah the prophet: For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Had to lift this Facebook post from Ron Cantor of Messiah's Mandate this morning because it was so perfect! Click on the photo to hear HaTikva, Israel's national anthem that Ron writes about below:

The singing of the Israeli national anthem today at the Memorial Day ceremonies in Jerusalem. Hatikva, The Hope. I once remarked to an Israeli friend how beautiful the song is, almost like a worship song. He sneered and said, "No, it is a completely secular song--godless." Upon further review my friend was wrong. If you read the full poem written in the 1800s, it is clear it is a lamentation as well as a cry to God

for mercy. It is reminiscent of ps. 137 in the deep pain the author express from being exiles from the Land of Israel, and prophetic like Ezekiel 37, calling the Dry Bones to Live.

The Hope

As long as in the heart, within,

A Jewish soul still yearns,

And onward, towards the ends of the east,

An eye still looks toward Zion;

Our hope is not yet lost,

The ancient hope,

To return to the land of our fathers,

The city where David encamped.

As long as tears from our eyes

Flow like benevolent rain,

And throngs of our countrymen

Still pay homage at the graves of (our) fathers;

As long as our precious Wall

Appears before our eyes,

And over the destruction of our Temple

An eye still wells up with tears;

As long as the waters of the Jordan

And (down) to the Sea of Galilee

A daughter of Zion still cries;

And to mourn for Zion at the watch of night

Howard Bass in Beer Sheva writes about Israel's declaration of independence on May 14, 1948, which you can read here. And with that, a prayer for Israel's salvation. He notes, "Much more of Israeli Jewish society today demonstrates a liberal tolerance of relatavism regarding belief in God in general, and in Yeshua in particular. Religious Jews are exploring and questioning their own faith (chozer b'she'elah), leaving the close-knit group that they were born into to seek answers that were not coming. In general, as in much of the world, they are searching for truth but not necessarily believing that there is absolute Truth. Very futile! May God wonderfully surprise many who are searching with all their hearts!"

Last week the Beer Sheva congregation went to Arad to have joint services with the Hasdey Yeshua congregation. Howard writes, "The message that day was from the Prophet Daniel. Why that is worth mentioning is because our Bible study group is studying the book written by Daniel the prophet, and our teens group is also studying it, independently of us. God is opening up this book, which seems to have been sealed until the time of the end, the times and days that our generation is living in. An interesting book that I have read is Daniel Revisited, by Mark Davidson. I still have some questions, but he has given fresh perspective on the current events now, which seem to be written about in chapters 8-12 of Daniel. If this be so, how ought we then to live?"

Just to affirm what Howard has written, I would note that Asher Intrater hit on this theme in one of the messages I saw of him in the past week - either at Baruch HaShem Messianic, or Destiny Church, or Paul Wilbur's Celebration Church. Asher also spoke about how God told Daniel to record the vision but that it was SEALED UP until the time it was coming into play. Daniel did not know what the vision meant, but now it appears for those who apply themselves as Daniel did to understand the revelation, God is beginning to reveal some things.

CLARIFICATION FROM KEHILAT HaCARMEL & the KAREM-EL congregation: I got my wires a little crossed last week in the actual situation going on at these two congregations in the HaCarmel network. Here is the situation: Dani Sayag has NOT left Kerem El congregation, but they are now blessed with two additional young pastors. Sayag will also be taking on the position of lead pastor of Kehilat HaCarmel in addition to his senior pastor role at Karem El.

The Sayeg's also have a prayer request on behalf of David Davis who had to step away from pastoring the Kehilat HaCarmel to undergo treatment and surgery for cancer. Please pray that no weapon formed against David shall prosper, and that God continue to pour out healing - with every cancer cell cursed to die in the name of Yeshua.

Mazal tov! First to Yeshua Israel ministries' Shani and Kobi Ferguson on the birth of their 5th child, a son, but also to the grandparents, Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram of Maoz Ministries, and Kobi's mother there with them in Jerusalem.

We also want to pass along the emphasis on the Maoz Israel Report that Shira writes each month. Their staff writes: "The subjects Shira writes about are very important, and we are always looking to expand our audience, so that as many people as possible (especially believers in Yeshua) know about Israel and the Middle East beyond what they see and read in mass media. . . . Please PRAY for more of our partners to share the Maoz Israel Report - with family, friends, and their churches and congregations"

Israel Pochtar in the Ashdod Beit Hallel congregation has a great report on the various holiday outreach projects they just conducted including their Passover Seder for 500 needy people; supplying 300 needy people with large food hampers; the Passover kids project for more than 200 children; and supplying 120 new immigrants with quality clothes and shoes. Another wildly encouraging report from David Lazarus of Beit Immanuel writing about the changing faces of Christianity in the Middle East. Quoting a Messianic friend from Jerusalem, Mike Niebur, "We now have Pastors named Muhammed or Pastor Achmed." Lazarus goes on to talk about the changes since 1982 to the present when recently a group of 70 Muslim-background Christians from around the Middle East met in Jerusalem for a "Cross Roads" gathering. Following that encouraging report of the Muslim Middle East receiving the gospel, we also have a super report from Pastor Najeeb Atteih of the Haifa Immanuel Church and Bookstore. In the bookstore, the Atteih's reach out to both Jews and Arabs (in some wonderfully disarming straight forward talk!). But, since the refugee crisis, the outreach into other nations to refugees has been a ripe harvest field for Najeeb. There is also a report on the Christian Soldiers Home they have been establishing for Christian Arab Israeli Defense Forces soldiers, which their son is one of those.

Revive Israel CEO Youval Yanay shares his journey to faith as a 5th generation Israeli Jew brought up in Tel Aviv. VIDEO My Faith Story by Youval Yanay and Asher Intrater has a wonderful (short) teaching inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary on the Kalah, or Bride. Explaining from the Hebrew, Asher notes that the Kalah identity is twofold: The first is to the husband and the second is to the son's father. In this way we all have a twofold identity as well. Several staff prayer requests have come in from Avi Mizrachi's Dugit Ministry in Tel Aviv this week - two related to housing situations of pastors and key full time staff members. Housing is always an acute need among the believers in Yeshua in Israel. If you want to purchase a house or apartment in Israel and make it available to Messianic ministries to rent from you - talk about a Win-Win situation! Dugit also report that the real estate agents are still searching for a new facility location within their price range. Pray the Lord would direct them to the right site.

Also the Mizrachi's daughter is about to enter the IDF and they ask prayers for her and the family.

Jacob Damkani, an Israeli evangelist whose ministry is Trumpet of Salvation, is announcing that they are starting their next movie production, "New Spirit". The release of "The Messenger" a movie about the God-given vision for his life as an evangelist for Yeshua in Israel, has been a wonderful success. As Jacob writes, "my telephone does not stop ringing, and many come to visit with a lot of questions....This feature film brings forth the promises of God from the Old to the New Covenant within its Jewish context through my life story, showing the power of the Gospel in me after receiving the Holy Spirit – all of that and so much more shown by some of the best actors we could find and through the lens of a top camera man." Another great announcement from Ron Cantor: "After we aired our final podcast more than a year ago, someone sent me and angry email. In it, he shared how he felt betrayed. Update on "E" in Tel Aviv: It is with great sadness I have to inform you that a few hours after we (Maoz Ministries) sent out our last prayer letter two weeks ago, Emmanuel passed on to be with the Lord. During his last hours he was conscious and able to soak in the love of his family and friends who were with him. Though he was unable to speak, he was reacting to people who talked with him and understood what was going on around him (which, according to the doctors, was a miracle). Thank you for your prayers that were lifted up! We know that the Lord's plan is perfect, and there is a reason He decided to take Emmanuel at this time. Please continue to PRAY for his wife and baby as they face this new reality. May the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, be with them and guide them in all their ways.

So, just the mention of Paul Wilbur's name, you already know the worship time is great, but so was the teaching time. Wilbur focuses on strong biblical teaching centered on the Jewish roots of the faith - messages by Paul Wilbur, as well as special guests.
