This is from Rachel Netanel, "Every year there is a festival in Ein Kerem to celebrate the blossoming of the almond tree.   In Jeremiah 1:11 – 12, it speaks about the almond tree, “Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?”And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word ready to perform it.”

"Almond in Hebrew is ‘shaked’ and the verb form is ‘shoked’ which means “watching over”.   It was not a coincidence that Aharon’s rod blossomed and bore almonds and this rod was put by the Ark of the Covenant.  

"This ‘almond’ tree is the first tree to blossom in Israel and it is also the last tree to bear fruit.  This is a symbol of Israel.  We were the ones given the Torah and one day Israel will see the One whom we have pierced and everyone will come to know the Lord."

I am always thrilled to read how God works through the Netanel's in Ein Karim, outside of Jerusalem, just with a simple openness to people, including extending them hospitality, and the obedience to the gospel with those that God puts in their paths.  It inspires me - and I hope you, too - to see people as they really are: looking for something real because they are without the LORD.

This month the Netanel's relate a recent encounter with many people in a Nazareth hotel that eventually even drew in the hotel rabbi (who ended up leaving angry because he was ill-equipped to deal with a person full of the Holy Spirit and brimming over with understanding in the Word of God. 

The rabbi had to admit he did not know the Hebrew scriptures that he was being asked about because he had not read from the Tenach (Bible) since his Bar Mitzvah at the age of 12!  When Rachel asked what he did read, he said the Gamara, the Zohar and the Talmud but not the Tanach.  Think about that!

Does Israel need spiritual leaders who know the Word of God, or only those that have read the commentaries?  I believe the Word that says, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."  This is what the Israeli Messianic believers are carrying in their hearts for Israel, and what we are carrying in our hearts for our own nations.

Revive Israel also asks prayers for "repentance and integrity in government" as a former president is jailed for sexual assualt and previous prime minister jailed for financial corruption. One of the top rabbis in Israel is in jail for trying to manipulate the police department. "Well, this does show at least that our judicial system is functioning, and that some efforts are being made to bring more integrity to the government.  The Bible says that when a people (particularly Israel) humbles itself, repents, and turns to the Lord, that God will heal the land (II Chronicles 7:14). Let us pray that our people will do just that. Then God's great destiny for this nation will be fulfilled."

Also requesting prayer of protection for Mike Bickle:  "Pray for protection and wisdom for our friend Mike Bickle of International House of Prayer, Kansas City.  He has always been attacked because of the worldwide network of prayer, praise, and prophecy that has been fostered by his work.  Recently he has come under more attack because of his endorsement of Ted Cruz in the Presidential primaries. And even more recently, the attacks were intensified because of twisting of remarks he made about Israel and the fact that he partners with Messianic Jews for the salvation of Israel.  His profound explanation of his teaching about end times in order to encourage Christians to stand strong in support of Israel in the difficult times ahead was published in one of the newspapers that attacked him. Avner Boskey of David's Tent also writes on the subject this month in his article online: Jewish suffering and anti-Semitism – A hot-button issue in the U.S. elections?  |  Over the past few weeks Israeli newspapers have been focusing on Mike Bickle’s endorsement of Ted Cruz in his campaign to become U.S. President. Bickle is the Founder and Director of the Kansas City based International House of Prayer. The Times of Israel, YNET, the Jerusalem Post and Ha’aretz all referred to sermons from 2005 and 2011 where Bickle referenced Adolf Hitler as being a hunter of the Jewish people …read more at above link

The Immanuel Church and Bookshop in Haifa, by Pastor Najeeb Atteih, is full of great news regarding ministry to Syrian refugees in Jordan.  They share some of the stories of those they have been sharing the good news with, as well as those that enter the Bible bookshop.  There is a report on their distribution to the poor of Haifa and Nazareth during Christmas - food parcels for extremely needy families.

You may remember that Pastor Atteih's son Tino is one of many Israeli Christian Arabs now swerving in IDF fighting units. This has brought a heart to start a home for these soldiers who are often put out of their families and communities, to "come home to."  This is the vision that is guiding the home that is already housing two pre-army recruits - a place where these courageous young Christian Arab believers can find spiritual, emotional and financial help as the soldier for the Israeli Defense Forces. 

" The Christian soldiers' home is a registered charity with the Israeli Government. All documents may be inspected. The Army and Najeeb are in constant touch. The project is only at its beginning. It will need ongoing support, office equipment, and more importantly, we lack at least one if not two concrete shelters in case of bombing (which could start any time) and these come at a cost of about 150,000 NIS each, about $39,000. This is admittedly no mean sum and we are looking to God and His people to help us with this project. But it will limp along until we have them!  Is there any way that any of you would consider supporting these utterly pro-Israel Arabs, who have dedicated their lives, and also put their life on the line to defend the Jewish State?"

Ron Cantor shares this video about the grand opening of the Tiferet Yeshua Coffee House outreach in Tel Aviv.  It was really great to be able to meet Ron Cantor face to face for the first time after many years of following his ministry in Israel through his email and online communications.  I honestly felt like I knew him so well that I wondered as I was getting ready to go to Gateways Church in Southlake, Tx, if this really could be the first face-to-face meeting.  It was. Israel Pochtar writes about a reconciliation conference that his ministry participates in each year in Turkey, where Jewish and Arab pastors come together in the spirit of brotherly unity.  He writes, "It's such a unique opportunity for us Jewish believers from Israel to meet and fellowship with mainly persecuted Christian pastors and leaders from Arab countries who face incredible hardships because of their faith. . . . Turkey is still the only safe place for Israeli and Arab pastors from the Middle East to come together. We're really looking forward to this time of fellowship, hearing their stories and testimonies, pray and worship together for 3 days is absolutely priceless. Please keep our team in your prayers for our traveling and our time at the conference. We trust it will be an enormous blessing, this year even more than before. "

Howard Bass opens with the somber note that one of their young medical students at the Yeshua's Inheritance congregation has passed into eternity leaving a wife and five small children. They thank you for prayers that were made for him, and ask for prayers for the family he leaves behind.

Howard also speaks about Purim which begins in about a month and which we see is on the minds of many in Israel - the story of Esther, a hatred of God's people and how God raised up an intercessor on behalf of those He had chosen to survive against all odds.  Bass also writes about his teaching on  the letters to the seven churches of Revelation, to his return trip to Kenya on March 4-13, and the work they support in Israel prison ministry:

"We contribute to the support of an evangelical prison ministry carried on by the House of Light, an Arab multi-faceted work. They have legal authorized access to Christian prisoners located in prisons around Israel. The system in Israel for prisons is that Jewish prisoners have rabbis, Christians have either traditional clergy, depending on denomination, or, in the House of Light’s case, an evangelical Protestant. I am able to only pay visitations to prisoners by personal acquaintance or request. I am not allowed to have any personal extra time for Bible studies or other such meetings, since I am a Jewish believer in Jesus, which the government does not accept. Therefore, not only can I not meet with Jewish prisoners who might be interested in looking at the Bible together, or for prayer, I also cannot meet with Christian prisoners, since I have no formal recognition. It is one of the realities here in Israel, and why we are happy to support the House of Light, directed by our dear brother and sister, Anis and Nawal Barhoum."

From Katy in her weekly prayer letter from the Sorko-Ram's Maoz Ministries, are these events concerning Israel last week:
                Palestinian Authority representative said this week that they (the PA) will never again sit down to direct talks with Israel.

                Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel said yesterday, while PM Netanyahu is paying an official visit to her country, that she doesn't think the time to implement the two-state solution is now.

                Hezbollah's Supreme Leader Hassan Nasrallah again threatened Israel, this time explaining that his terrorist organization is in possession of an atomic bomb.  And while they don't actually have one, they know a target in Israel (Ammonium reservoirs) they can launch rockets to, and if they should reach their target, the explosion will have an effect of an atomic bomb.

                IDF spokesman confirmed that this threat is real and there could be anywhere from tens to hundreds of thousands of casualties.

                Also, yesterday on one of the local news channels it has been reported that the U.S. Customs have been labeling goods made in Israel's Judea and Samaria settlements as goods made in the West Bank. The story is that they were supposed to label goods produced by the Palestinians, but something happened and settlers' products are being marked as well. Israeli officials are refraining from making a big deal out of it for now, since the relationship between our two countries is already hanging by a thread.  Please pray for Israel. PRAY for Israel's leaders and commanders to seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly, recognizing the importance of their role.

Joel Jelski from Succat Hallel writes that he has wrapped up school and is off to Dallas to meet with his wife and child already visiting family in Mexico. They ask prayers for a fruitful visit in America, and also for their ministry work back home.  One is the Succat Hallel partnering with other local houses of prayer to do training of young people and teams for worship and prayer sets.  Read more from the Jelski's inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

A’YELET HA’SHAHAR—the MORNING STAR by Martin Sarvis in Jerusalem

Ayelet and Shahar are two lovely Hebrew words often used as personal names in Israel,  Ayelet for girls, Shahar by both men and women.   Ayelet (ah-yeh-let) is a poetic name for a hind, a doe, a female deer.  We find it in Proverbs 5:19 used as a simile for a beloved wife, “a loving deer, a graceful doe.”   Shahar (the second syllable pronounced with a slight rasp in the throat) means the dawn, daybreak, the morning light.  

There is one place in the Hebrew Bible where these two words are found joined together to make a compound word.  It is in the instructions to musicians at the beginning of Psalm 22, “For the choir director, on Ayelet-haShahar.”  It may have been referring to the name of a known melody, “To be sung to the melody of ‘The Hind of the Dawn.’”  Or perhaps there was a musical instrument with that name, which would have been used as an accompaniment when the psalm was read. 

In any event, the expression  Ayelet haShahar has survived into Modern Hebrew, almost always used as a poetic simile for the Morning Star—imagined as a graceful deer making its way across the sky.  It was this ancient symbol, Ayelet haShahar— the Morning Star, which was to set the atmosphere for reciting Psalm 22.

My Word

 ISRAELPRAYER:  There is a warfare that attaches to anyone who sees and preaches what God's plan is to bring Christians alongside the Body of Messiah in Israel to be like a Ruth to those laboring in the LORD's harvest. The enemy will mount a siege on any Christian who advances that message, and it will be a siege akin to the siege we have seen among the nations politically opposed to the modern state of Israel in every conceivable way. 

To be a Christian who sees and preaches God's plan for the "one new man" unity that brings about the greatest spiritual harvest in the world through the salvation of Israel, means having the same spirit that we see in the Israelis who are holding their ground despite international opposition to their survival or existence.  Mike Bickle is one of these Christians and he has the wounds of the enemy to prove it. We just have to remain steadfast not matter how the winds of opposition blow against us.

Others have started down the path to support Israel, and for various reasons have greatly diminished commitment to connecting with the Body of Messiah in Israel. Just connecting with Israel is not enough to accomplish the plan of God that is laid out clearly in Romans, and in symbolism in many other places of scripture, including the book of Ruth. Whatever is said about Mike Bickle to tear him down - whether it is regarding Israel or not - that is the Accuser of the Brethren opposing the plan of God. Do not mistake it for anything else.

This week our prayer requests are a little lighter than usual, I suspect because an early spring has sprung in Israel and we've been getting reports that it is as beautiful there with the blossoming of flowers and the proverbial-prophetic "almond tree" of Jeremiah 1:11-12:

Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?”
And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”
Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”

You probably know that God is speaking a word play to Jeremiah in this verse:  "The name of the almond-tree (here the poetical, not the common, name) made the symbol yet more expressive. It was the watcher, the tree that “hastens to awake” (shâkêd) out of its wintry sleep, and thus expresses the divine haste which would not without cause delay the fulfillment of its gracious promise, but would, as it were, make it bud and blossom, and bear fruit."

The blossoming of the almond tree is a sign not only of the beginning of a natural springtime, but also the end of a spiritual winter for the people of Israel. The promise that "all Israel shall be saved" is surely coming. Thank you for praying with us over the people of Yeshua who are truly laboring in the harvest fields of the Kingdom.

From Revive Israel this week is an article feature by Paul Wilbur, The Real Reason for Anti-Semitism. Did you know that the prophetic books of Zechariah and Haggai took place during the same time as the book of Esther. Next month is the Purim celebration that the book of Esther inspired. Wilbur explains the significance of all these things.

Eddie Santoro pastors the Ahavat Yeshua congregation in Jerusalem and gives a wonderful report on their Shabbat meeting last week where praying for each other was the major focus of the message and small group prayers at the end of the service. Eddie writes: "Please join us in praying that this freedom and life of the Spirit would only increase and become more and more consistent in our weekly meetings. We have no doubt that as God's power is manifest that many unsaved Israelis will be drawn to our gatherings and we will see the harvest we are longing for."

If you have been on this mailing list over the past few months, you will know that we have been praying for Eddie Santoro who just before Christmas learned he had a cancerous brain tumor.  The tumor was removed and he has gone through radiation and chemo. Eddie also received prayer from the group as he is about to start a new experimental treatment, and having another MRI to monitor his status.

Santoro is among many in the Israeli ministry leadership over the past two years to have been struck with life-threatening illnesses.  We are using these medical crisis to up the prayer intercession for these ministers, and also to ask God for an increase of healing miracles to flow from the Israeli believers as a sign and wonder of the spiritual power of Yeshua.  Please join with us in praying these things and see the section below each week listing the names of Israeli believers - mostly leaders with urgent medical/healing prayer intercession

Santoro also writes about the ongoing violent attacks against Israelis which has become a difficult reality for all Israelis over the past several months.  These attacks are encouraged by the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and many other Islamic groups as documented by MEMRI, the Israel Project and others. Santoro writes: Please continue to pray for the peace and security of Israel. Pray that our government leaders would be led by the counsel of God and would receive wisdom and right strategy. And pray that in spite of all that is going on, Jews would continue to make aliyah and be part of the fulfillment of God's promise to return the Jewish people to THEIR LAND OF ISRAEL in the last days. Pray that every evil strategy that is being launched against this nation would be foiled.  As always we want to thank you for all of your love, prayers and support. 

Martin Sarvis gives us a rundown on the warming relations of Israel with Egypt under the leadership of President al-Sisi.  (Please pray for al-Sisi who is truly turning out to be a God-send in the area on so many levels).  This week, the warming relations hit a bump in the road, but it doesn't mean and end to the warming. Ben Juster, as the Operations Director for Tikkun International (Tikkun means restoration) sends out a prayer letter that covers the prayer needs of the many Tikkun ministries, including this week a prayer request for his mom, Patty Juster, who is still healing from a major back surgery months ago. (My husband had the same time of surgery this time last year and it is no quick bounce back surgery). Please keep Patty, Dan Juster's better half, in prayer as she continues to rehab.

A lady who is a right hand to many in Jerusalem ministry, Ann Carroll also is requesting prayer for some Christian Arab evangelists (name withheld for security reasons) that Tikkun works with.  They have an Old City shop which pays the bills, but income is down very low - likely due to the stabbing attacks - as Israeli shoppers and international tourists have become rare in their shop. They must tend the shop daily of Muslims will take over their space.  "Please pray for wisdom for how we can support them and for God's open hand of provision for these dear brothers."

And: Yad HaShmona Housing Project. The challenges in completing these 37 houses in the only Messianic Jewish Moshav in Israel continue.  But we know that God is continuing to move things forward, regardless of the temporary trials. Recently, there was a threat by a former contractor (who had abandoned the project) to go to trial . . . Please pray that this frivolous lawsuit would never make it to trial or that the whole process would be dropped.

From KehilaNews.com two articles by Israeli ministry leaders:  From the Beer Sheva congregation Howard Bass writes about an event both sad and also hopeful as a former Prime Minister of Israel is sent to prison for bribes and obstruction of justice.

Israel Pochtar of the Beit Hallel congregation in Ashdod writes a glowing follow up report on their special feeding project "Feeding israelis in Need" that just took place.  Recently there has been a flood of immigrants from the Ukraine and many are relocating in the Pochtar's ministry area. He writes, "We were able to provide large food hampers to more than 310 families, consisting of Ukrainian Jewish refugees, Holocaust survivors, and single mothers. We had so many people in attendance that Beit Hallel Congregation was filled to the brim, seeing that so many people are in need of help. The need is indeed great and there are so many more people in Ashdod whom we would like to help with food, bedding and clothing. We are trusting God that through his provision and the help of our partners, that we will continue to expand and grow in our capacity to help and sustain many more people in need."  Find out more inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

Last, but certainly not least, we have a good report from David and Karen Davis of the HaCarmel Assembly.  David is another of the ministry leaders who was struck with a life-threatening cancerous tumor.  For his treatment, they went to the Christian Oasis of Hope Hospital in Mexico, where David received bathing prayer, intensive treatment and also surgery.  Last report we received, after being in Mexico for about 4 weeks, the Davis' were traveling back to Israel.

Karen writes, "David is slowly regaining strength after the four weeks of intense treatments, including the surgery. We are beginning now to feel the unction to start packing and that we will soon be 'breaking camp' and returning to our beloved Israel -- trusting the Lord that David will have sufficient strength for the journey." Please continue to pray for David, and for Karen, who are a tremendous blessing in the Land of Israel.

Rick Ridings of Succat Hallel:  We are sending an urgent prayer request to our entire mailIng list for our 26 year old daughter, Esther, who has been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer.  When we heard the news that the lump in Esther's breast tested as cancerous, we felt that we should try to find a place where the Lord was moving in supernatural healing.  The cancer treatment is complicated by the fact that Esther is about 6 weeks pregnant.  Also,  many of the natural cures make her gag and vomit as she is also dealing with first trimester nausea from the pregnancy.  As she prayed, she felt that she should do a Daniel de-tox vegan, gluten and sugar free diet, which is good for her, but she still desperately needs a miracle.

"If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?"  Jeremiah 12:5

When young David faced Goliath, he reminded himself of the victories God gave him over a lion and a bear as he simply tended sheep.  The battles we have waged in our personal lives are the training for the greater battles that lie before us.  Let your own battles help you in the spiritual battles that the Body of Messiah in Israel is asking for our help with.  You are well able having been equipped by God to run with the horses.

One thing you will notice in the Israel prayer requests is that the same problems we face wherever we are in the world, those are problems that Israelis wrestle with too.  This is one reason for this prayer list, because when we stand in specific battles in our own lives and countries, it moves us to those same kinds of prayer issues in others.  Many Christians throughout the world are moved to pray only for the politics or terrorism Israel faces, but the truth is salvation comes one person at a time. It is wrestling with the problems of life that are common to all mankind that will the salvation tipping point for many Israelis.  That is why YOU are uniquely qualified to pray for the salvation of "all Israel" - just let these ministry prayer requests ignite your prayers.

This week we begin with a touching prayer letter from Carolyn and Richard Hyde of Heart of God ministries.  They make a special point to pray for prodigals - theirs, ours and Israel's.  I would encourage you to read Carolyn's poignant account of discovering how as many as 15,000 young Israelis have immigrated to Berlin - and the vision the Lord gave her about it.  There is a warfare going on for people - many we know up close and personal. We must pray for them, as Carolyn noted, "Seeing the people He felt compassion for them because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd."  I cannot do justice to Carolyn's own words on this, please read inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

Similarly, we want to share the testimonies of the House of Victory rehab in Haifa, so please read those inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary.  Director Eric Benson writes:  "The burden of the Lord is upon our hearts. Our eyes have been opened to the tremendous needs of the coming harvest. In the natural, the task is overwhelming. We cannot lean upon our own natural abilities and strengths. In order to accomplish the task before us" 

Pray for those who willing go to the ones that society turns a blind eye to. Some problems in people are so deep that there is little hope for them outside of Divine intervention - which so often comes through the willingness of God's people to walk in hard and often heartbreaking closeness to those who have been made captives. Not ever deliverance is instantly and thank God for His servants who will stick close as a brother to walk it out with others learning to choose life.

From the Tiferet Yeshua congregation in Tel Aviv, Ron Cantor shares their joy at the dream of a coffee house outreach becoming a reality at long last.  It was a huge success with a full audience (including unbelievers), great musical performances by Shai Sol and a Messianic rapper.  Cantor writes, "We are developing a growing team of young adults to oversee the concerts and serve our guests at these events. The goal is to create an warm atmosphere, where coffee is served, music is played and naturally the message of Yeshua is shared."

Great news from the HaTikvah Project director, Evan Levine as their low cost Dental Clinic is really taking off - especially among Holocaust survivors.  Here is a brief video of the clinic - which is openly Messianic.

On the home front, Evan reports that they have finally been able to find and purchase a home - after nine other houses fell through!  This young family now will have a view of the Dead Sea Valley.  At the same time Evan reports on one of the recent recipients of HaTikvah aid. Israel Pochtar of the Beit Hallel congregation in Ashdod also has his eyes fixed this prayer report on aid to the impoverished Ukrainian Refugees, Holocaust Survivors, and Single Mothers. Their feeding project is supplying groceries to these families and the offer is for only $20 you can provide a large grocery supply to one needy family.  Many of the immigrants who are fleeing threatening situations are not able to return to their work in their professions. Language and other barriers handicap them in their homeland. This is not their fault and they need help to survive. Juster, PhD - author and advocate of Messianic Judaism shares on the progressive understanding of the Jewish apostles concerning the place of gentiles and God's kingdom in the New Covenant.  No Longer Strangers.

Revive also shares this hats off to "Israel's "Watchdog"  |  Recently Caleb Myers appeared on the front page of the Maariv local Jerusalem supplement.  In a play on his name, they referred to him as Israel's new "watchdog" and praised him for his efforts defending Israel against propaganda around the world. Please pray for the ongoing work of the Jerusalem Institute of Justice.

From the Adonai Roi congregation in Tel Aviv led by Avi Mizrachi:  "Recently I shared on "The Kingdom of Heaven" at Adonai Roi congregation here in Tel Aviv. I felt that I wanted to share it with our friends and supporters around the world.  Although I am speaking in Hebrew, those of you that speak English can follow along as Associate Pastor Shmuel Salway translates!"

Guy Cohen who leads the Acco Harvest of Asher congregation writes, "A number of changes have taken place in the last weeks and we are in the middle of transitions in the ministry and in the personal lives of many who call  Harvest of Asher their congregation."  His specific prayer requests calls our prayer for individuals, as well as for the youth, their leaders, marriages and broken families, and new leaders in various areas of the ministry.  See details inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

Kobi and Shani Ferguson write about that "when pursuing the restoration of the Jewish people to God, the patient, long-term approach is by far the most effective. From Yeshua's Inheritance congregation in Beer Sheva Howard Bass reports temps dropped to freezing for two nights - something he says he doesn't ever remember occurring in the desert town before. Brrrrr!  His grandson was in intensive care for several days with Swine Flu which caused at least one death in Israel this year. Prayer for God's protection over the health of the little children. The grandson's mother Rotem (wife of Joseph founder of KehilaNews.com) is expecting her third child in one month.

Pray for the families of Messianic believers in Israel. We are so grateful to God for all the children who are following in the faith of their fathers and mothers in Yeshua, who are now raising their own children to also follow Him. 

Howard is freshly back from ministering in England for the Prayer for Israel organization. Pray for great fruit to come of this meeting - as Howard shares that there was great unity between the organizers and speakers.  On the Israel front, Howard writes:  "While those who support the 'Palestinian cause' say that the despair of the "occupation" is the root cause of this latest terror, the truth is that Islamic jihad against those who are associated with the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, and with His sovereign claims upon lands and boundaries, is the spiritual power that would even sacrifice their children to the god of Islam in the vain hope of destroying what YHVH God says cannot be destroyed: both Israel and the Church. (Is 54:17; Mt 16:16-18) It is a dreadful and dire situation that the enemy of our souls has brought these people for whom Yeshua died too."

Michael E Update: I started treatment a few weeks ago for Lyme disease.  By Gods grace there is a clinic here in town.  Only a few in the whole country.  In another few weeks, I will get test results back looking for the DNA of dead Lyme bacteria since the pre-treatment test was inconclusive.    Lyme can explain all the bizarre neurological symptoms as well as the thick blood and night time hypoxia issues. 

David Davis Updates from Karen: 
2/6 A few days after the surgery (which has healed completely, PTL!), he was extremely weak and also became very disoriented which has intensified in the last couple of days. The doctors are trying now to determine the cause, possibly a reaction to some meds.

2/7  Praise the Lord of the Breakthroughs! The disorientation has ceased! Thank you all for your effective prayers! Still trusting the Lord for David's strength to return so we can go home soon!

From Lura on 2/8 on Eddie Beckford's hospitalization:  Spent most of the day with Eddie at the hospital. They did a bunch of tests on him and then put him in a room in the Surgical Unit this evening. They are treating his diabetes first and giving him antibiotics for the bone infection in his jaw. When they get the results for the thyroid ultrasound, they will know better what to do. UPDATE 2/10: Eddie has been released from the hospital and will go to another dept to deal with the thyroid issues.

Last week US President Barack Obama spoke in a Baltimore mosque with well known terrorism ties. There he made a remarkable statement:  "Muslim Americans keep us safe—They are our police;  They are our firefighters;  They’re in Homeland Security.”  Martin Sarvis in Jerusalem addresses this statement and the lies about Islam being a part of the United States from the founding fathers. A Strong Recommendation

DDIORIO:  There is quite an uproar in the USA over the Beyonce performance at the Super Bowl, and that ties in of a prophetic interpretation that went out just days before the game.

Watching these things I was reminded yet again of a prophetic message delivered by Asher Intrater at the 2009 Israel Mandate Conference at KC-IHOP.  The message is about Jezebel and Jihad and how to be effective in spiritual warfare with one, we must also be waging war with the other.

The prophetic word that began to circulate days before the Super Bowl is from a man who is now deceased but was known in some circles as a "seer".  What he saw was a Black Panther coming to South Carolina. This was before the team located there.

At first he and his prophet associates interpreted it as a reason for interceding about racial strife; later they decided it was to be a sign: When the Panthers won the Super Bowl, that's when the start of the longed for big revivals where people would be filling football stadiums for church.  So this had many thinking that SC Panthers would win the Super Bowl, but they did not - the Denver Broncos did.

However, Beyonce & her black female dancers did a half-time performance dressed as the racially aggressive Black Panthers group of the 70's. The performance, based on an anti-cop video released only days ago, has law enforcement and conservatives in an uproar.

When Beyonce started out she cultivated the image of a quiet, shy good Christian girl who when she went on stage took on the persona of "Sasha Fierce".  For the discerning, it was easy to see the Jezebel spirit operating in her then, but now she is in a matured Jezebel spirit. Beyonce's performance and video  is a full blown Jezebel warrior queen.

The next day came a report of police chiefs meeting during the game who had already seen the music video of her anti-law enforcement new release, and that they had turned their back on it.  Beyonce's race-baiting song “Formation” video that shows police officers harassing young black people. It also included graffiti that read, “Stop shooting us” and opens with Beyonce on top of a sinking police car depicting the waters of Katrina-flooded New Orleans. Her visual message was strong sexual voodoo and the lyrics pot-stirring of racial strife. You may or may not want to view it: music video and half-time performance.

Having Asher's message of Jezebel and Jihad pop up in memory several times over the past 7 years, I sought it out again yesterday.  In the past I have referred to the written part of the message; this time I refreshed my memory with the audio message. What looms so large to me in the message at this time is how I have never felt this vision of Asher's was more NOW than now. 

The warfare Asher is speaking to  - about a deceiving veil over Christians - is at critical mass:

"Liberal Secular Humanism opens the door to moderate Islam. Moderate welcomes extreme. When linked, they cause a veil over the earth, a demonic “cloud cover” that Yeshua is fighting to get through in the end; a cover over our thoughts preventing revelation to get through to us.

"In Revelation, these two principalities are called the Harlot and the Beast (Jezebel and Jihad), representing immorality and violence. In Revelation 17, God will allow the Beast to destroy the Harlot. In turn, God will destroy the Beast. Jerusalem lies as the seam between these two demonic powers over the earth. It is our job to pray for defeat, for division between to rip that seam. A kingdom divided cannot stand."
