Priority Prayer Focus
It seems somewhat a sign that the Christian holiday to commemorate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus is purposely calculated never to occur on the same day that the Jews celebrate Passover.
The reality is these two holidays are destined to be joined into One New Man – just as the Messianic Jews and Christians of the nations are destined by God Himself to be made one in Messiah.
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. Ephesians 2:14-16

Lots going on over the past week with a pre-Passover
visit by President Obama to Israel and while there are a lot of extremely
negative reactions from U.S. believers to the way Israel reacted to Obama, it
would be prudent to step back and heed what the Israeli ministries have to say
– several spiritually sensitive ministries have input inside the Weekly Summary. (Let’s not get on the “More
Zionist Than Thou” high horse!)
Ahavat Yeshua’s (Love of Yeshua’s) Eddie Santoro – whose letter arrived in the early stages of the Presidential visit - gave a perspective that lays a solid foundation of where Israel’s head was at:
“The cost of this visit is huge, but deemed a very worthwhile expense. In a world that has for the most part rejected Israel the United States has stood beside this nation as a friend. The leaders of the two nations do not always agree but the message that was spoken in the opening round of speeches was that Israel and America are bound together in an unbreakable alliance and share in a common future, with common values.”

My sense is that the battle is primarily one of the heart. If this nation can touch President Obama's heart with its love for the United States and its deep and heartfelt appreciation of America, this visit could have a significant impact on the coming four years.”

Commenting after the fact, Asher Intrater of Revive Israel wrote: “Obama's visit was highlighted by personal reconciliation with Netanyahu, the two of them hugging and smiling together repeatedly before the cameras. Obama demonstrated his uncanny charm and charisma, winning the hearts of the Israeli people.”
Intrater: “He also made unprecedented statements of commitment to Israel's security and of the bond between Israel and America. On the other hand, most Israelis are concerned that his proclaiming such high expectations for an imminent peace agreement does not take into account the depth of commitment by radical Islam to Israel's total destruction.”
Martin Sarvis, a brother in Jerusalem, wrote an
excellent spiritual analysis of President
Obama's Visit to Israel.
One thing I have learned about interpreting things about Israel internal: If you are not hearing from the Body in Israel, then you really aren't getting a clear view of what God is up to. That's why when I received this article/prayer perspective yesterday, I hoped to get a release to publish it. I did and urge you to read it taking into account the Israeli spiritual perspective.

In news from
the Body, Evan Levine of the HaTikva Project has a great report of how HaTikva
was able to help a young former-Orthodox/now-Messianic Israeli with legal fees
to get out from being buried under a mountain of debt that was not even of his
own making but racked up by his dad. With
his accounts frozen, crippling his ability to make a living or even leaving
Israel, this young believer has been liberated with the help of financial
supporters of this ministry. A truly
uplifting report of the out-of-the-ordinary kinds of work this ministry does.
Evan also
brings a prayer request for his wife, Elisa Glasser-Levine, who for one year
has suffered from a debilitating pain in her leg that doctors have not been
able to find a reason for even with extensive testing. Please pray for Elisa to be freed from this
dis-ease regardless of the source, in
the Name of Yeshua.
The Passover
Seder may be over, but Passover donations can still be sent to Succat Hallel
for the support of Israeli young adults who are on staff as worship and
Intercession leaders at Succat Hallel. It is very important that the 24/7 prayer and
praise house in Jerusalem have Israeli citizens on staff. Most of the staff in the past has come
from international believers whose
support to participate was raised out in their home churches. It is
truly, truly difficult to fund these types of ministries inside Israel – which
is why I’m taking special care to spell this out for subscribers. If you would like to help Stefan, Adam, Joel,

As if Passover preparations was not enough, the Return
to Zion congregation in Haifa moved into their new facility on Passover. Leon Mazin, who heads the congregation,
included photos of the renovation work as it was in progress – giving thanks to
all the international volunteers who came to Israel for some hands-on short
term ministry with the Messianic congregation.
Pray that many others will catch the vision of these type of short term
missions to come alongside the Israeli
ministries. We report many such
projects going on among Israeli ministries in this prayer summary.
One of the ministries of the RTZ congregation, this time Leon’s wife
Nina heads the ministry, is their music school called Rainbow of Sounds. They are helping financially challenged
families to send their children to music school.
Nina Mazin writes, “There are many talented children from the families that receive help from our soup kitchen. … We have found it worthwhile to invest in these young lives, and through music lessons give them the opportunity …. Many have fallen in love with playing their instruments and prefer to stay at home and practice [rather than wander the streets]." Ye’shi Reinhardt, who has humanitarian aid to terror
victims and to the hard hit city of Sde’rot, sent some truly touching photos of
the children of Sde’rot playing with a recent
gift of little lambs which were donated to bring healing and comfort to the
many traumatized children of Sde'rot. What
an amazing gift to soothe the shatter nerves of many of the children whose city

Randi Bass of Yeshua’s Inheritance congregation in Beer Sheva, took the
time to capture what her countdown to Passover preparations were like. You can take what Randi wrote and then

Some unforeseen complications have stretched the work out longer, so pray for all to go smoothly and quickly now. They have a regular group of committed intercessors who meet there weekly to pray for the Land, the Nation, the ministries and the leaders that are so closely connected with the personal needs of the people. Passover in the USA means a concentrated bombardment of emotionally manipulative television ads from Rabbi Eckstein’s International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
The truth is that Rabbi Eckstein raises about $100,000,000 annually in large part from evangelical Christians in the US. And he rewards himself with a princely annual salary almost $1 million!
Now compare Eckstein’s one hundred million to the just under three million that the largest Messianic ministry in Israel reports in annual donations. That is 97 million dollars that will NOT go to building the kingdom of Jesus in Israel. Does that seem even remotely right to you?
Worldwide believers need to quit making excuses for sending their Israel-supporting donations to organizations in Israel that are not building the kingdom of Messiah.
I can promise you this, no matter what type of project in Israel you would like to donate towards from helping Jews make aliyah to feeding hungry Holocaust survivors; from pro-Life to 24/7 worship; from provisions and shelters for wars to simply preparing places for children from Messianic families to be taught the words of Yeshua, there are Israeli ministries catering to every need. To reach unsaved Israel, the most effective donation you can make is to the Israeli Messianic citizens who believe in Jesus and are dedicated to minister in His Name.

recovering from several rounds of chemo and surgeries for a brain tumor. We also come in agreement to lift up to the
LORD those who have not been named here but are also battling for their lives
against sickness and disease.
