There is real and strong spiritual opposition to making the ministries of Israel known to the Church worldwide – with every imaginable distraction to keep believers from recognizing the critical significance of what the LORD Himself is doing among the Israeli believers. Yes, as Israelis awaken to their salvation in Messiah Yeshua, more and more Christians also awaken to how significant the work of the ministry in Israel really is. We believe there is a Divine correlation between the steady, ever increase of the two. As Christians discover God’s purposes for Yeshua’ followers in Israel and come alongside to help them, more Israelis come to faith. Do you realize how that impacts the whole of Israel? This time of year in Israel
is an annual emotional roller coaster ride as after Passover the nation collectively
observes Holocaust Remembrance Day, Memorial Day to honor fallen soldiers, and
finally Israel’s Independence Day. This
year, the Messianic community had an especially poignant moment on Memorial Day
as the believing community remembered a Messianic soldier who fell in the war
with Gaza last summer. The pastor of the
congregation Shai grew up shares a touching tribute to Shai as he visited his

We also received an
exceptional personal testimony this week from the Hasdey Yeshua congregation in
Arad from one of their congregants who immigrated from Ukraine. Her testimony is re-published in full inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary because
we believe it is very instructive to how the many congregations of Israel are
ministering to former Soviet Union immigrants which are so abundant in
Israel. You will find this testimony

In the Hasdey Yeshua congregation prayer requests they ask for prayer over the city of Arad elections as the former mayor, a secular Russian woman who pandered to the ultra-orthodox for votes (giving favors that did not do well by the believers in Arad), has been elected to the Knesset leaving her mayoral spot open. There is one candidate whose belief is that all citizens of the city are equal before the law and desires to build up the economic base of the city – apparently just the opposite of what the other candidate believes and is seeking. The believers in Arad say this is a crucial time and ask for your prayers over their elections so that they may live in peace and do the will of the LORD in Arad.
Ronit Bender, our friend
from the HaCarmel Assembly, writes about her ministry team in the House of
Victory as they go to the streets of south Tel Aviv once a week to do outreach
among the addicts, prostitutes and people living on the streets. This ministry work takes special people who
are able to share the love of the LORD with the most unlovely people in dire
circumstances. Ronit is such a person
and shares her experience from street level.
As we mentioned in the
recent past, Ronit was waiting to hear if she was going to have to move from
her apartment in Haifa where she has been the past year. The answer is yes. She
is asking prayer for the LORD to lead her to a place where He wants her. She also brings up an excellent point for
Christians who would like to invest in property in Israel and then allow
Israeli believers to be the caretakers, paying you rent for houses and
apartments they will not be ejected from because of their faith. It is a win-win situation for those who would

from Asher; Notice of the
call to prayer for America yesterday (& ongoing until the decision) as
arguments on far reaching consequence on same sex marriage were heard by the US
Supreme Court; and continuing prayer over the US push for removal of sanctions
on Iran, as well as for the government coalition being formed by Prime Minister
Netanyahu.
On the latter coalition government point, Martin Sarvis in Jerusalem
adds to the urgency of this prayer request noting that with one week left to go
“At this time, it appears
that the ultra-Orthodox Shas party might be given both the Ministry of the
Interior and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which could result in severe
repercussions for believers in this country (and entering the country) for
years to come. “
Sarvis asks, “Pray that the formation of any government which would hinder the work of the gospel of Truth amongst Israelis will not be allowed to come into place. Pray for the Lord to release upheaval into the plans of the enemy, break the powers of witchcraft (the religious party mentioned has deep roots in the occult), and that Mr. Netanyahu, if he is truly God’s Israeli leader for this hour, will find himself head over a Knesset and Cabinet of God’s choosing!

We want to say Mazal Tov to
Guy and Tali Cohen who lead the Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco as they
celebrate the 10th anniversary of the congregation. I remember well when this congregation came
into being – it was a hard birth but it is such a testimony of God’s grace that
Katsir Asher continues to grow in fruitfulness.
Rania Sayegh is an Christian
Arab intercessor who is enthusiastically supported by many quality Messianic
leaders in Israel. Her ministry, HOPE,
House of Prayer & Exploits is announcing the first Arab Women’s Conference
called Arab Deborah’s Arising this coming Sep 24-26th. It will be held in a Messianic facility that

From Evan Levine of the
HaTikva Project, this update, including on the Dental Clinic Outreach they are
opening in Jerusalem: “We have been
extremely busy this last month. We have received and processed many aid
requests while at the same time moving forward with the renovations of the
dental clinic. I greatly enjoyed the time we spent picking all of the flooring,
tiles, paint colors etc. to make this clinic beautiful and inviting. It’s quite
satisfying to see this “God idea” coming to fruition.”
Evan also relates the story
of a recent HaTikvah aid recipient, a 24-year old Jerusalmite, whose broken ribs
put him out of work and behind on rent.
Evan writes, “We believe that helping such a family by simply saying,
“We’ve got your rent covered.” is a simple and pure expression of God’s love. .
. .What a wonderful opportunity to sow the finances entrusted to you into the
fertile soil of the Kingdom of God in Israel. Please stand with us in your
giving as we renovate the clinic and restore those who are hurting.”
Israeli ministries are
making a difference in the lives of their countrymen and you can have a part of
