For the past 14 1/2 years of weekly publishing these prayer requests from Israel I have endeavored to keep requests for donations to an absolute minimum. At times when I have made requests in crisis, I am so grateful for those who have responded with donations.  Today there is not a crisis but there is a real need for financial support at this time.  If you are grateful for this ministry and can afford to make a donation at this time, I would be thankful to receive it.

This week we begin our Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries with the report of a dear lady, Ruth Nessim, who lives in the far north of Israel near the Lebanon border.  Ruth's report this month is brimming with accounts of her one-on-one ministry to Arabs and Muslims that God puts in her path. She is like so many of the Israeli ministries we report on here who have a heart not just for their fellow Jewish countrymen, but also a deeply felt heart for the Arabs.  Ruth's reports are always an inspiration to us as she is so open to those she meets, they respond in kind.  Truly she is loving people into the kingdom of the LORD.

One true story that Ruth opens this week is about the Muslim mayor of Nazareth. She writes, "Greetings and shalom to you all from a very troubled land, with continuing daily stabbings, shootings, firebombs and demonstrations. What has amazed us in this land is the response of so many Israeli Arabs and Moslems: The Moslem Mayor of Nazareth arrived by car at a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Nazareth, led by the head of the Israeli Arab List in the Israeli Parliament, and literally ordered him to leave Nazareth, as he was ruining co-existence in the town!" 

In the nations we pretty much only hear about the 'bad news' of conflict with Arabs and Israel, but be encouraged that many Israeli ministries, like Ruth, do outreach among the Arabs including in the Syrian refugee camps, as well as supporting the underground ministries in Palestinian controlled areas like Gaza.  We don't often get to mention anything about these ministries because obviously their lives are on the line and we cannot give any details that would get them killed by fundamentalist Muslims.  Please pray for protection of Christian Arabs against the acts produced by the indoctrination of political Islamic hatred across Palestinian society.

Ruth also writes, "While we are talking about the Arab world, we have good news for you from another direction. We have been talking and praying for months about the “Home for Christian (Arab) soldiers”. After months of praying, we received two gifts which covered the remaining costs of setting up the home, paving the grounds, putting on a roof, fixing a kitchen and connecting up to water and electricity. ... So to those of you who have prayed and/ or contributed for this home which will be a refuge for Arab young people serving in the Israeli Army, a big thank you and praise the Lord with us!"

Eddie Santoro of the Ahavat Yeshua congregation in Tel Aviv (who is also on our prayer list as he finishes up his final chemo and radiation treatments after a cancerous tumor was removed from his brain) sends us a poignant report on a terrorist attack that hit 'close to home' for his family last week. The attack occurred in the same building that his son is located in. We are hearing many stories like this from the believers in Israel, and they are not immune to becoming victims of the murderous attacks. Please keep your prayers up for all of the believers in Israel and their families - that God will keep them from harm. We know from the Second Intifada that these prayers are effective!

Eddie also comments on the "growing worldwide deception of Israel as an apartheid state. What is the truth? Israel is the only nation in the entire Middle East that allows all people groups to share in the blessings of the nation together. It is certainly not an apartheid state. . . . The worst horrors and the greatest oppression of people occur in every nation of the Middle East except Israel. Christians are being forced by persecution and terrorism to flee their homes in every other Middle East nation. . . . Prime Minister Netanyahu summed up the situation when he commented on yesterday's attacks in Israel. 'Behind these terrorist attacks stands radical Islam, which seeks to destroy us, the same radical Islam that struck in Paris and threatens all of Europe. Whoever condemned the attack in France needs to condemn the attacks in Israel. It's the same terror. From Restoration from Zion, the new ministry name of Dr. Daniel Juster, we received a wrap up of things going on in the Tikkun Ministry leaders' lives including tremendous favor in the tavels of their teams in Europe, Asia and the US.  There is a report and request for prayer for Eddie Santoro, as well as Dan's wife Patty who is recovering from a serious back surgery (and just wants to get on with her life!). 

For Eitan Shishkoff, they write, "The Fields of Wheat Project. Over 1/3 of the funds needed for the purchase of the land and initial structures has been donated! Please pray for continued support for the purchase of this 14-acre property to be used for the body of Messiah in Israel. At the end of October, Eitan hosted three days of prayer and strategic planning.  The participants came from decades of experience in real estate, finance, hotel management, and corporate planning ... as well as those of us who have invested decades in Israeli Messianic pioneering. As a result, clear goals and action steps were formulated to move Fields of Wheat forward in a responsible and realistic way.  Please pray for God to provide high-level administrators to manage the project and for the logistics to be completed that will lead to a ratified contract."

For Asher Intrater, who has taken over primary leadership as the International Director for the Tikkun-related family of ministries in Israel, there are tremendous pressures on his time.  Please pray for wisdom for what God is calling him to - that all may be in God's perfect will for him in impacting the Kingdom. Pray for continuing development of a solid team of leaders, administrators, and ministers to support Asher in the work. Pray for continued physical and spiritual renewal for Asher personally and for his family.  Pray for Tikkun ministries that all the relationships in the Israeli ministries and the international body to be strengthened, spiritually healthy and knit together in bonds of mutual brotherly love.

Howard Bass of the Yeshua's Inheritance congregation sends Thanksgiving greetings to all the Americans and tells us about the tradition they started in Israel in 1999 to give international medical program students at Soroka Hospital/Ben-Gurion Univ of the Negev a little taste of 'home'.  Howard writes, "There were a number of American students far from home during that special family and national day, so we began what became a wonderful 'tradition'. Last year we missed it, being out of the country, but this year, with our friends, the Chapmans, we will rejoice with Thanksgiving at God's 'more abundant life' for those who know the Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. All praise and glory to Him!"

Beer Sheva has several other colleges, as Howard shares. He writes, "Israel is unique in having Jews and Arabs freely studying and preparing for life together in a way that can be extremely powerful in proclaiming the gospel as the truth for genuine peace and social acceptance. At B-GU, there are a fair number of believers, most of the Israeli ones are Arab. The Return to Zion ministry in Haifa is led by Leon Mazin and this month he is highlighting two projects they have among many - (1) their Rainbow of Sounds Music School established in 2010 "with only a few instruments and a vision to offer affordable, quality musical education to children from different backgrounds.  with only a few instruments and a vision to offer affordable, quality musical education to children from different backgrounds. . . . In 2012 we started a new program to assist children from financially challenged families that cannot afford the monthly tuition fee of $130. . . . The other is the Eagle Project created for Messianic congregations in Israel to serve young adults who have completed their service in the Israel Defense Forces.  This program also aims to help establish relationships and build bridges between believers in Israel and Norway."  If you don't know, it is traditional that Israeli young people travel internationally after their IDF service. The Eagle Project seeks to keep the young believers moving in a path of deeper relationship with God even as they get a taste of the world outside Israel. Dov Bikas sends a "Thank you!" for prayers made for the woman whose story they shared last week:  "Thank you very much for your care and prayers for Irena! She still has body aches and strong craving for drugs she is seriously fighting, but in general she feels much better both physically and emotionally. We do fill God is working in her heart! She has become calmer and kinder, and much more open to the Lord.  Every blessing to you all!"

The Hebrew congregation in Arad, Hasdey Yeshua (Mercy of Yeshua) is thankful for the abundant rains that have been pouring in southern Israel.  "Let’s pray that in the same way the Lord will pour out His Spirit on His people Israel and also on the other children of Abraham, the Bedouin who live all around us."  They have been making great inroads with their outreach to a local Bedouin tribe.  This is an exciting report which I am not going to give any more details in this publicly published forum, but please read more inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary and pray for the work of the Lord that is going on among them.

They also send a praise report on the request last month for an open house event at the Fountain of Tears.  "It was part of a city-wide festival featuring the works of many different artists.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Fountain, you can click here for a short introductory video.

"The response was overwhelming!  During the three-day open house many ordinary Aradnikim (affectionate name for people of Arad) came. There were teachers of the Holocaust who exclaimed, “We have to bring our classes here!” Others were excited to view this hidden treasure for the first time and were heard to say things like, “This (the Fountain) is OURS! It belongs here in Arad!” Members of the city government ventured in, one man in particular more than once. Also in attendance was the woman who writes a local website advising people what to do here in Arad. Israel Pochtar of the Beit Hallel congregation and voice of Juday Israel Ministries reports on two historic events for their ministry this week: One, their biggest gospel outreach ever (details inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary) and the signing of the contract on their own congregational building purchase.  This is big news for the ministry which you should read about in the Weekly Summary so we don't give any sensitive details away here.  There are also several pointed prayer requests Pochtar would love for you to pray with them over. 

One prayer request:  "We're going through very difficult times here in the Land, with very real security threats, with terrorist attacks happening here on daily basis. Please pray this even will go smooth, with God's hand over the people."

Lastly, we get the report from the Yuval Messianic Worship Center for Music and the Arts in Jerusalem, who write, " This morning, as we were writing these newsletter lines, another terror attack struck us in Jerusalem. This time it was closer than ever, on Jaffa street, just 2 minutes away from the Clal building where the "Yuval" center is located. In light of Israel's difficult reality in the last months - fear in the streets, dangers from outside and now from within, threats and increasing terror – we are overwhelmed by the real unity that is lived out in "Yuval".  Arab students learning guitar together with Jewish students; A Jewish teacher teaches an Arab student piano; Jewish and Arab mothers praying together while their daughters are in dance class; little children from both Jewish and Arab families playing Lego and Soccer together in the lobby… It is truly the Word of God coming to life according to Ephesians 2, "For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity…"

"In October, nearly 2 months ago, we opened a new year in "Yuval" in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Over 180 students signed up, and together with 20 teachers (several new) – everyone was excited to see each other again and continue learning together! Quite a lot of the students this year are new, and a significant sum of them – from an Arab background. Ruth Nessim:  My health has not been too great. I am very tired lately and find I lack patience, so please pray for me, I start my treatment on 23rd November, a combo of Biological, Chemo and steroids, and am not really looking forward to it!  Each treatment lasts a week. There are two days in the Hospital, and five days Steroids, and then three weeks free. This is repeated 6 times. So I cannot travel anywhere until end of April.

Couldn't help but notice the hurt feelings that many of my Israeli Messianic friends were expressing on Facebook after the outpouring of sympathy for the terrorist attack in Paris. 

It's true.  The world does not respond to Israel with the compassion or show of support the way it responds to attacks elsewhere.  It is like Israel does not count, and I fully understand why that hurts.

What is most amazing to me that we do not understand that the positions that we have taken holding Israel's feet to the fire all these years are exactly what has brought terrorist attacks down on our heads.  As much as I love the USA, I have known since 1993 that our willingness to turn a blind eye to Islamist aggression against Israel was going to bring the Islamist aggression to us too. As we have judged, so it is measured out to us.

Never forget that the real war Islam is fighting is its demonic war against God and that Israel is the epicenter of that war because of God's dedication to restoring Israel to its full inheritance in Messiah Yeshua.  Don't stop praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

First off this week is a short video from Asher Intrater of Revive Israel on the terrible Paris terror attack.

In this short video Asher shares their grief and anger over the attacks that occurred in Paris a few days ago. 

Two points he brings out: The French response has been to bomb a site of ISIS in northern Iraq and that might be missing the point, since the problem is southern Paris where there are thousands of people who are actually for the attacks that happened in Paris.  It takes a change of consciousness.  In fact, to call these people terrorists is almost outdated!  They are jihadists. This is a war of conquest of western nations. 

Also, it is not that the attackers are deranged - they are brainwashed, but not deranged. This event involved dozens of people in strategy, logistics, communications, in cars, in weapons. This was a sophisticated event by people who were brainwashed by jihad but not mentally ill and we need to deal with what is the root of the problem.  Watch here

From KehilaNews.com which is introduced in this 1-minute video  is an article from Miriam Abramov who shares some initial reflections on the terrorist attacks in Paris that occurred on Friday night, November 13, 2015.  Je Suis Maamin, I am a Believer in Yeshua

From Maoz Ministries the last weekly report that came out before the Paris attack on Friday, as Israel continues to weather the ongoing terror attacks on the streets by individuals throughout Israel.  They write, "We are so grateful for your prayers for Israel's safety!  It has been a month-and-a-half since the terror acts began and while some attacks have been "successful," many more have been thwarted by our security forces and by citizens who simply paid attention to suspicious activity.  Please continue to PRAY for the Lord to watch over His people and keep them secure.

". . . . During this time when so many are criticizing Israel and spewing hate on the Jewish people, your support for us is not something we take for granted.  It really takes a heart of God to love imperfect people and imperfect nations, and understand what the Scripture means when it states that God's calling is irrevocable. Thank you for having the heart of God for Israel!"

Evan Levine of the HaTikva Project reflects on the many good opportunities the ministry has experienced over the past year including the opening of the 2-year vision for a Dental Clinic that is openly Messianic-owned and operated.  Although Evan has been experiencing some mysterious health issues, over all their family is moving head.  Evan notes a couple of recent recipients of the HaTikva financial assistance: A Messianic kindergarten in an area of Jerusalem which has been seeing many terror attacks lately needed assistance for hiring more security; and a family in northern Israel that needed help purchasing eyeglasses for multiple members of the family.  We love this ministry because they set themselves not only to do outreach humanitarian assistance to unbelievers, but because they also help the needy among the saints in Israel.  Learn more inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

Dov Bikas of the Aviv Ministry to drug addicts and victims of sexual abuse in south Tel Aviv has a wonderful short praise report on one of the women they have been ministering to over the past 11 months.  This is a mighty testimony of God moving in the lives of Israelis.  Read it inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

Israel Pochtar is like a 'house afire' to reach his people in their region and you can read the ways they will be able to expand their already energetic outreach to the community.

If you have a heart for the Pro-Life movement, you should know that Israeli ministries do too!  This week we have a beautiful Pro-Life testimony/music video combination that was produced at the Jerusalem Yuval Messianic Worship Center for Music and the Arts by IIrit Ifert.  This is a very touching video - have a tissue handy.

From our Arab sister Rania Sayegh of the Nazareth House of Prayer & Exploits (HOPE) is a report on the prophetic conference they held in September with "113 Arab women from all over the land of Israel. 24 international leaders from different nations, 1 from Canada, 8 from USA, 1 from Switzerland, 12 from Norway who sacrificially had come to be with us to serve as ministry team, to minister in prayer, encouragement for our women and be support in prayer during the conference."  Among those who ministered are Julie and Walt Meyer led worship and Maurice Sklar.  Read more inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

Leon Mazin who leads the Shavei Tzion (Return to Zion) congregation in Haifa, writes about their Haifa Theological Institute: "At present we are in need of spiritual sowers. Soon we will need spiritual reapers as well. In addition to being spiritually anointed, sowers and reapers must be well educated theologically, with experience in applying their knowledge in ministry. They must be able to touch the hearts of everyone, combining the message of the Gospel with knowledge of the law and traditions.

"In order to equip such ministers, as well as to study complex issues of Judaism and Christianity, the Haifa Theological Institute was founded in Haifa, Israel, in 2009. Just as we are wrapping up this digest of the Weekly Summary & Arrows from Zion, we received the timely perspective from Martin Sarvis in Jerusalem: THE TERROR IN PARIS . AND ITS REPERCUSSIONS FOR ISRAEL.  In it Sarvis touches on God's purposes for calling French Jews to return to their ancient homeland, as well as the hideous accusations from some high level European government leaders suggesting "a relationship between such attacks and the plight of Palestinians at the hands of Israel."

My Comment on the Current Syrian Refugee Controversy

On the Accusations that American Christians and Conservatives Lack Compassion Toward the Refugees

There is a saying about not suffering fools gladly. I think we better have the wherewithal to be that person now as so many are coming out to shame the conservatives balking at just openly receiving the Syrian refugees no questions asked.

It does not make you a "hater" and it does not mean that you have assumed that all the Syrians are terrorists. That is just a plain stupid accusation. (I could have said uninformed, but these people want to play rough so here is rough push back.)

I expect the President's people, his lap dog media and political acolytes to make these kinds of false accusations against conservative Americans to push us along to what they want to do. What I didn't expect was for so many young believers to line up and make those accusations which is nothing but a lie from the pit of hell.

And the president's people? Well, many of them are appalled at the suggestion that we just open-ended let these people in too. My God! Europe is so overrun with radical Islam right now, it will take a miracle from God to pull them out. Americans know we are infiltrated to a high saturation - especially since the Obama administration. Only fools would allow these refugees in without adequate screening and Obama's homeland security heads and leaders have been stepping forward to say we do not have the capacity to do that despite what he said.

There have been unfair comparisons leveled to like the WWII turning away of the USS St Louis. Such comparisons are meant to bring you into self doubt about your level of compassion. The Syrian refugees are not a ship full of peaceful Jews harboring no deadly ideologists among them! We have to vet the Syrians because of Syria being such a hotbed of terrorists. The Islamic terrorists always hide in plain sight among the people, and the people - whether out of fear or similar belief - do not betray them.

Compassion is a must, but compassion without wisdom is suicide when it comes to giving our full trust without verification to those escaping the conflicts in Syria. And it has already been documented that these are not just families fleeing Syria for safety sake but the mass exodus of Muslims throughout the Middle East into currently flooding Europe.

One British newspaper reporter just purchased a Syrian passport in Turkey for $2000 in less than a week just to show how quick and easy it was to get the paperwork western nations want to see.

The time lapse map below shows the flow of asylum seekers to European countries . Each moving point on the map represents 25 people.

Americans are already reeling from the purposely out of control flood of immigrates coming up from our southern borders and this was already a major issue in the campaign for the next president.

The Syrian refugees are not going to be allowed in the United States with no questions and it doesn't matter what ideologues - Christian/Messianic or Leftists - have to say about it.

Stand strong American Conservative Believers and Messianics. Sometimes people who act as if they are more like Jesus than you are, well, they are just full of self-righteousness, not actual spiritual wisdom.

Priority Prayer Focus Nov 11, 2015

No matter what is going on in Israel  - intifada, outright war or the current wave of unpredictable individual terror attacks on the streets - Israeli ministries always continue to press in to the calling to minister in the love of Yeshua to their fellow Israeli Jews and their Arab neighbors.  I have witnessed this for the over fourteen and half years I've been publishing the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries.

While other groups that support Israel by raising funds from among Christians may be more famous and may even have lots of TV commercials and magazine space, know this:  they are not ministering the eternal blessing of Yeshua with Christian contributions they receive.  You may think they are blessing with practical needs that the Israeli ministries can't provide, but that is untrue. 

Please pray with me that financial needs of the Israeli ministries which fund their outreach and ministry into their communities will grow at this time, and that Christians will begin to reevaluate if they are putting their donations to the best possible use with organizations that bypass Israeli ministries altogether.  Let's pray for a mighty release of funds into those who are advancing the LORD's kingdom in Israel.

Carolyn and Richard Hyde of Heart of God Ministries in Poriya Ilit have just wrapped up a time of ministry in Germany and currently are speaking in the Louisiana-Texas region.  In Germany they have a really exciting report of ministering in Munich public schools and being asked, "What should I do?  I'm a Muslim."  Their answer was anointed:  "So we told them to look to the founder of each religion.  'What did Mohammed do?  He stole, killed, and destroyed.  And what did Yeshua do?  He healed the sick, delivered the possessed, had showed compassion to the poor and lost, etc.  So who do you want to follow?  No one can force you to believe; it's your choice.' The students replied, 'We will follow Yeshua!'

Richard also shares the story of how he and Carolyn, on the way to the airport at 3 AM on October 27th, saw a sight in the skies that took their breath away:  three bright lights on the horizon of the eastern sky.  Later they checked the Times of Israel and saw this headline:  "As planets align, some see return of Jesus' Star of Bethlehem | The rare convergence of Venus, Jupiter and Mars this week has some wondering if it's time to cue the Magi"

Richard continues, "When we arrived in Munich Germany we were invited to the leadership meeting of The Gathering, a meeting at the Olympic stadium where thousands of German believers were gathering.   During a special meeting a Persian man declared that a group of 40 Iranians were sojourning to Israel.  They would be bringing precious gifts to Israel just as their ancestors, the Magi, did over 2000 years ago.  When we heard this we almost fell off our seats.  Carolyn looked at me and said, "Do you know what the L-rd told me to put in my purse before we left Israel - a bottle of Frankincense? I've never done anything like that before."  When we shared with the Iranian believers they were overwhelmed and gratefully accepted our offer to anoint them with the frankincense. . . . From the congregation atop Carmel, David Davis sends an encouraging workd of how the Lord is our keeper, from Psalm 121 and 1 Peter 1:3-5.  See inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

Davis also writes,  "Today we see ominous dark clouds gathering across our northern border.  The Hizballah terrorist army, trained and armed by Iran, is established only a few miles from Galilee and in missile range of our city of Haifa.  Now Russian troops and warplanes have joined with Iranian elite army units in Syria.  They are attempting to build a terrorist base on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights.  Also to the north, the government of Turkey has become more Islamic and threatening. These are all dangerous new developments.  We thank God that He who keeps Israel never slumbers nor sleeps.  Please stand with us in prayer proclaiming Psalm 121 over the situation in northern Israel." From Maoz Ministries, Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram, Katy Smith writes more about how all Israelis are being impacted by the wave of unpredictable knifing terror attacks throughout Israel. To call the environment unnerving is to say the least of it.  She writes, "To add insult to injury, the European Union announced this week that it will begin marking produce that comes from the West Bank and the Golan Heights. In this way, their constituents who want to boycott Israel can clearly identify the source of produce (which is, by the way, the best and tastiest in the region!) and stop buying it.  What EU officials don't get is that these boycotts heavily affect the PALESTINIANS, many of whom work in factories and fields in the West Bank and are in danger of losing their jobs because of these boycotts." 

In a related news report we saw, Knesset member Michael Oren has started his own campaign labeling EU products in Israeli supermarkets. 

The past several days some of the Revive Israel team where in Indianapolis as Asher Intrater was a main speaker in the huge AGLOW international meeting.  Before that got underway, the weekly Revive prayer letter contained a good report from their Munich, Germany participation in the Global Gathering led by David Demian.  Read it: Family of God. 

Also in the Revive letter, an excerpt from Bassam Tawil's article from the Gatestone Institute, Muslim Blood and Al-Aqsa:  "We all know perfectly well that Al-Aqsa mosque is in no danger. Ironically -- I am ashamed to admit it -- thanks to the Israel Police, Al-Aqsa is the safest mosque in the Middle East. Today we sacrifice both our sons and daughters on the altar of empty slogan -- lies such as 'Al-Aqsa mosque is in danger,' in the vain, blasphemous notion that omnipotent, omniscient Allah needs us to die as martyrs for his sake." Ron Cantor of Congregation Tiferet Yeshua and Messiah's Mandate shares another of his excellent video posts, this one:   Archeological find in History proves Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah

From the Akko congregation, Harvest of Asher, Guy Cohen has a short teaching inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary warning about the Word of God to beware of false prophets:  "The believing community needs the wisdom of God about those who come into the congregation and speak into our lives as well as those whom we may follow on the internet, etc. All too often we are led in a direction not of God because we heard from the man of God what we wanted to hear. He may have come as an angel of light, charismatic, good looking, saying all the right things and drawing people to him. This may sound harsh but it is what the Word describes as the way it will be. A false prophet will almost always come seeking position, money, control and a following."

Guy also includes prayer requests from the congregation, including prayer for Ron and Magda as Ron suffers a health issue; prayer for their home groups; for their after school program for children and for the pro-life counselors they need in the western Galilee.

Dov Bikas, who Aviv Ministry is evangelism and outreach among drug addicts and victims of sexual abuse in Tel Aviv, sends a personal testimony of one of their women now in rehab in Haifa. For the sake of her security, we ask that you read that inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary. 

Dov also asks prayer for Muhammad, an addict who came to the Aviv Center several days ago:  "We talked a lot and finally he, a Muslim from East Jerusalem, agreed to go to a Christian rehab (one of the centers of our partners). Ironically, at the very same time another Israeli Arab, a terrorist, was attacking pedestrians in a nearby town of Rishon Le-Tsion. Please keep praying for the situation in Israel and for Aviv Center to be a place where both Jews and Arabs would be able to find true peace.  We also ask you to pray for our team members, who are working diligently in both our rehabs and in Aviv Center. Please pray that God would give them strength, wisdom and good health."

Israel Pochtar from the Ashdod Beit Hallel congregation also sends along the personal testimony of a couple who will be leading their newly launched "Family Course for young families and marriages who came to us through our various humanitarian projects. Pochtar writes:  "This 8-week course will be a tremendous blessing for so many who have signed up. It's wonderful to see how the Lord has opened doors and touched people's hearts: before there weren't many people interested in this type of course, and now we see an amazing response with over 14 couples signing up! It's a genuine indication of how powerful God is working among his people and ushers them into His Kingdom. Urgent HEALING Needs: Life and Death is in the power of the tongue

Please keep in prayer the Israeli ministry leaders and believers with urgent health needs including some in the fight for their very lives:  Evan Levine, Marike Veldman, Eddie Santoro,  Michael E and unnamed Israel-related ministers, Jacob Damkani, Rachel Slater, Judy, wife of pastor Yaakov K, Moshe Morrison, Ruth Nessim, an unnamed forefather of Messianic Judaism, Shelly wife of pastor Eitan, Claude Ezagouri, Patti, wife of Dan Juster, Baruch and Karen Maayan.  Pray for Ghazi, the son of an Arab pastor, who is suffering from Leukemia.

Praying the Headlines

In praying the headlines - an incident of persecution of faith reported in Kehila News Israel  by Hannah Weiss of Restorers of Zion:  Web Host Shuts Down Ministry Website 'Restorers of Zion'

Also, just before mailing time, the lead intercessor at the HaMaayan congregation posted a Jerusalem Post article about the IDF takedown of a Hamas terror network in a town about one mile from where she lives.:  Israel busts up Hamas network in West Bank town of Kalkilya; 24 arrested.  I saw that this was the same town that an elder in Sally's congregation, Uzi Lotan, had written about in 2011 - and which I published on one of my blogs in addition to sending out in the Weekly Summary:  Mosques, Minarets and Military Training.

Sally let me know that the congregation has been taking spiritual authority for this troubling terrorist enclave:  "Yes we pray there every week. I feel that our congregation has the responsibility to pray and protect spiritually. Hence a prayer meeting tomorrow night!"

If you want the best spiritual "intel" to pray for Israel, you are going to be hard pressed to find better than hearing from the Body of Messiah on the ground praying for their own communities.  This is a great example of that. While counterterrorism forces in Israel may have had their own reasons for not responding to the things Uzi Lotan reported in 2011 - sometimes it is better to let them think they are getting away without detection - clearly we knew there was a time when Israel would move to break up this terror nest, or else the Kalkiya terror network would go operational.  This is yet another reason why praying in agreement with Israeli ministries is so critical.
