Priority Prayer Focus
Let me just throw a thought out there. There are many Christians who support Israel through various organizations run by traditional Judaism or politically-oriented Israel support associations that work jointly with Christians. Now I have heard for years that these types of Christian support of Israel are good, even though they most often cause those Christians to bypass the work of the LORD in Israel completely.
What that means is that those Israeli citizens in the ministry of gospel are as good as non-existent to all these Christian do-gooders toward Israel. Now this describes the majority of Christian Israel support, so what that means is that the majority of Christian support of Israel goes to support making Israel stronger in the flesh. So, knowing myself and other human beings who have come to know the LORD Jesus, when we are strong in the flesh we do not see our spiritual need for Yeshua.
At what point does Christian giving to Israel cease to be a good thing? It is meant to express good will, but at what point does good will become just enabling of the flesh to resist the need of the LORD?
I think that many Christian organizations have become so invested in building up Israel in the flesh while ignoring the spiritual building up Israel needs that many have begun to move at cross purposes with the Will of God for Israel. Now they would never know it because, (1) they continue to be embraced by unsaved Israel and have large followings among Christians who support Israel; and (2) because God's will for Christian support of Israel is first and foremost a spiritual matter that must be spiritually discerned from the Word of God and from the awakening to what the Holy Spirit is doing in Israel in this season.
There was a time for Christians to support the raising up of the dry bones of Ezekiel's vision in primarily fleshly ways. But we are well into the season where the bones have put on flesh and stand, now the season is to address the spiritual life of the Holy Spirit in Israel. When Christians who support Israel begin to see that the season has changed, then their exclusive support of Israel in the flesh will transform to support of the spiritual work.
Can you pray with me for Christians across the world who support Israel to begin to awaken to the change of season, to cease making Israel strong only in the flesh, and to begin to sow into the spiritual harvest that has begun in earnest in the holy land that is on its way to becoming truly Holy? - Donna Diorio

Revive-Israel’s Asher Intrater is calling for urgent prayer he writes
that is still needed in forming the new Israeli government under Prime Minister
Netanyahu. The difficulty comes because
of the PM’s reluctance to leave the ultra-Orthodox out of his coalition.
Asher writes: “Messianic believers in the country seem to be in favor of his joining forces with Lapid's party and Bennet's party, which would push for social justice, equality of military service and religious pluralism. . . . There is an opportunity for a breakthrough in the Israel political scene, but time is running short: Netanyahu can ask for a one-time two-week extension to March 16; which is only a few days before Obama's scheduled visit to Israel on March 20.”

The pre-Purim Esther Fast that was streaming live from Jerusalem (and
hosted by Revive-Israel) had 1,048
connections from 8 different nations joining on live stream. Two of the Revive-Israel team wrote: “Despite
the fact that most did not understand the Hebrew flow of prayer, praise and
prophecy, many expressed how meaningful it was for them to be part of something
authentic with local Israeli believers.”

This week we have an important report on
ministry to the Druze from a couple who must remain anonymous to our
subscribers (we know them and they are in good standing in the Body in Israel).
They note that “the Druze are one of the hardest-to-reach people groups in the
10/40 Window.” They ask prayer over the
coming summer outreaches when they are involved in summer camps tor Druze, Arab
and at-risk kids in their area. You will
be blessed to read how the LORD is reaching these young people in Israel

It’s the little things in daily life that people see
that begins your testimony of the difference Yeshua has made in your life. Lura Beckford reported on how their clean up
of trash left by their landlord on the property (think Sandford & Son) and
how their openness to improve a neighbor’s view of the property has opened
their neighbor’s heart to them. Matthew 5:41 talks about how our witness must
go the extra mile to disarm hearts. This
is the type of witness that Israeli Messianic believers are demonstrating
through their lives in their own circles of influence – and this is the witness
of the power of Yeshua that is opening Israeli hearts to the Messiah.
Ye’shi Reinhardt of Hands of Mercy which does humanitarian aid to terror
victims (especially in the region around Gaza), brings attention to the Baby
Boom going on in Israel – a 20% increase of births between August and September
last year. Israeli commentators said the
reason for the boom was the particularly cold and rainy winter – so imagine
what is coming as the 2013 rainy season wraps up! Ye’shi (Jesse) writes, “All creation rejoices to witness this gift of
"new life" vibrantly springing up everywhere throughout Israel. Here in the shadow of Gaza, we especially
celebrate this "gift of new life" and the abundance of rain.”
The hard hit Sde’rot, which Reinhardt’s Tents of Victory ministers to,
has been blessed through the Joseph Project with a truck load of disposable
baby diapers (10,000!) that came through “Containers of Compassion” in
Australia. Wow! Talk about the Holy Spirit anticipating the
need!
Pray for the teams that work with Reinhardt’s two ministries who while the rocket attacks from Gaza have slowed down are now feeling like they are under “spiritual rocket attacks.” Yeshi writes, “severe sickness to most of our staff, a near-fatal accident, costly auto repairs, anger, slander, destructive misunderstandings and threat of physical harm/death…all in this ‘war-battered’ area near Gaza. Welcome to the reality of life! (Can you relate?).”

experiencing at this time. Let’s pray
against these spiritual barrage of the enemy – No weapon formed against us
shall prosper and every tongue that rises to condemn us, we render null and
void to carry out its destructive purpose.
From Acco, Guy and Tali Cohen are taking part
in a conference in Tel Aviv, and enjoying a time of rest and renewal as
well. Pray for God’s blessing to be upon
all the leaders as they get away to conferences that are especially for
ministry leaders – and also for just their times of getting away for rest and
renewal. These servants of the LORD
carry a lot for their people, so let us pray that the LORD abundantly bless
them with refreshing.
Pray for the Acco Harvest of Asher that will
be distributing food coupons in their community for the needy to be blessed
with Passover food. Throughout Israel
the ministries will be doing various outreaches whether delivery of food or
vouchers for food, or for Passover Seders where those in the highways and
byways are invited in. The Holy Spirit
always uses these special times to soften hearts to the good news of Messiah –
pray that the kingdom of Yeshua will be greatly expanded in Israel over this
Passover.
Guy Cohen also notes, “This year the annual
summer camp ‘KATZIR’ (Harvest) will be held from March 19 - 21. Youth from many
of the congregations in the land participate. Our youth will be attending and
our youth leader will be one of the counselors. Pray for their safety and that
they will have a blessed time of fellowship and receive all that God has for
them.”

Ministries also write this week about the coming Passover holiday: “Israel is a
statement to the world today that He keeps His word, whether people,
governments, churches like or not, or believe it or not. Israel is a statement
of God’s faithfulness. Now is the time for the Jewish people to know freedom
from slavery to sin, through Messiah’s Blood. Would you pray with us all here
in Israel, during Pesach (Passover week) as we nationally celebrate this Feast
time.”

Jacob has been beaten up numerous times, and keeps coming back
cheerfully to challenge Israelis with the choice of Israeli’s Messiah. Pray for him as he teaches others to share
the good news with Israelis.
Israelprayer picked up this link from Facebook, David Davis’ Carmel Congregation message last Shabbat called Joseph’s Brothers Are Coming. Wow! It is so encouraging to hear how their outreaches are seeing 60 people fill the altar to receive Yeshua! This morning the monthly prayer letter arrived from the HaCarmel congregation that included the print version of this outstanding teaching by David Davis. PodCast that Ron Cantor is doing from Tel Aviv and can highly recommend
it. I particularly enjoyed the opening
segment Chaim G and Ron talking about the current news events in Israel. There really is a little something for
everyone – a historical segment, a Biblical teaching segment and an interview
segment with Israelis who are making an impact for the kingdom of the LORD in
Israel. The one I listened to featured
Eitan Shishkoff who has planted a whole network of congregations in northern
Israel. Ron is a truly gifted

Urgent HEALING Needs: Life and Death is in the power of the
tongue

Pray for God’s complete healing of Katya Morrison at Tents of Mercy (recovering
from bone marrow transplant for Acute Myeloid Leukemia); Brookie
in the Galilee and Tom both are
believing for victory over cancer in Carmel. Pray
for Kay Wilson still
suffering from PTSD after surviving a stabbing terrorism attack that her friend
did not survive. Continue to pray for baby Netaley, who on Mar 18th will have the next MRI coming up. Her
parents have been praying for every bit of tumor to be dissolved, shriveled up,
dead and gone. Please join in that
prayer so that the MRI will show a perfect tumor- free head! A Grandmother in 3 generations of believers at Tents of
Mercy is battling cancer. Please pray with us for this family, as they endure a
difficult time. David Silver of Out of Zion Ministries asks for prayer for a high
level of joint pain he suffering in his knees and feet. Also there is a health update on Tom in his
battle with cancer.

Rather than being used to create a strong economy and democratic Palestinian Administration, this money has been funneled into the private bank accounts of Palestinian leaders, financed militant terrorist activities, and funded education of the next generation with values of hatred, violence, racism and anti-Semitism. … Therefore, we call upon the US & European Government to start effectively monitoring financial aid contributed to the Palestinian Authority and UNWRA….”

I've been reading Moshe Morrison's new book, Out of the Corner of My Eye, which is a
collection of short stories. Wow! I knew Moshe was funny and a good writer of
spiritual teachings, but he is also a really imaginative writer of fiction.
Some of the short stories are sci-fi-ish, or like the old TV series, Outer
Limits. But my favorites are the short stories that are little snippets of
Jewish and/or Messianic life. Really enjoying the reads - they make me smile.
