Summary about the great work that is
going on under the direction of Evan Levine of the HaTikva Project who are
helping the poor while advancing the kingdom.
Today Eddie Santoro who pastors the Ahavat
Yeshua congregation in Jerusalem is going in for another MRI post-brain
surgery. Please pray the LORD will continue to prosper Eddie's health. He will
get the results in one week. Eddie
shares how the health ordeal had driven him into deeper study of healing in the
scriptures and how that is impacting their many visits to the hospital with a
new boldness to pray for those who need a healing touch from God.
Santoro writes, "Every time we are in the
hospital, the love of God pours out from us onto those who are very sick. We
enter into warm and friendly conversations with them, sharing my situation and
the reason for the hope that we have and ultimately ask if they would like prayer.
This ongoing wonder has occurred many times and nobody has ever said no! We lay
our Spirit filled hands on the sick and in love pray for their healing in
Yeshua's name. And we let them know that once we pray for them in the hospital,
we will continue to pray for them every day. We are confident that the fruit of
our prayers is affecting many even in ways we cannot know or imagine."
The Arad congregation Hasdey Yeshua (Mercy of
Yeshua) are practicing the mercy which is in the name of their congregation as
they continue outreach in the nearby Bedouin community. They are literally reaching out to those who
have no hope, for as they write, the Bedouin community is in bondage. If you
would like to pray for these people here is how the Bedouin are in bondage:
• Bondage to a false religion and a demonic “god.” No, Allah and the God of the Bible are not the same, and Islam is not one of the three great monotheistic religions.
• Bondage to
a cruel tribalism that denigrates women and denies youngsters the adult
supervision that they so desperately need.
• Bondage to
extreme poverty, partly brought about by blind obedience to the “duty” of a
good Muslim wife to bear many children, whether or not the family can afford to
care for them.
These same issues of bondage that are shared by Muslims throughout the Middle East but, as we heard this weekend in a message delivered by Asher Intrater, God is working mighty to deliver at this time among Muslims - like in Indonesia, a Muslim nation in the east where the outpouring of the Holy Spirit is sweeping thousands into the kingdom. Already there are reports of this same Spirit delivering many in Middle Eastern Muslim nations. The Gospel of the Kingdom is traveling eastward to Israel! In northern Israel, God's Vineyard (Karem-El)
congregation is under new, young pastors as Dani Sayeg moves to the
parent-congregation of the Carmel Assembly.
It is a young congregation and discipling young adults is a priority
among them - as well as reaching out in their community to be salt and light.
One of the volunteer projects they have begun will be to help a youth center in
a disadvantaged area of Haifa. Read more

The House of Victory is an outreach to the
addicted - Jew, Arab, any of those on the streets who respond to the holy hands
reaching out to lift them out of the fire. This is a team work, and they
partner with teams in Tel Aviv - Israel's official 'Sin City' - where the
addicted on their last leg are so abundant.

These words deeply penetrated my heart. I thought to myself about the holy work our hands are performing. A holy work requires "holy hands!" In order for us to come into the presence of the Lord, we need clean hands, and a pure heart. If we are going to daily challenge the men to separate themselves from the unclean, we need to set the example for them to follow. We need to boldly proclaim through our lifestyle the way into the holy place of His presence."

Update on Polly: Polly’s
pneumonia is all gone. She had a biopsy on the growth in her lung and will know
the results sometime in the first week of May. Please pray that it’s benign and
will cause no further problems.
Update on Eddie Santoro: On May 4th I will be having another MRI. Please join us in praying that the results will demonstrate in an ever greater way the miraculous healing power of God in my body. We will meet with the oncologist the following week and receive the results and of course we will share the GOOD REPORT with you as soon as we receive it. Thank you for standing with us.
