Eddie Santoro of Ahahat Yeshua kicks off the flow of the prayer letters we have received over the past week from Israeli Ministries and it is all about giving from what God has blessed you with.  Human beings are not naturally giving, as any mother can attest to. One of the first issues a parent must deal with is teaching their babies and toddlers to share. Spiritually that is a basic learning curve too. Even the most needy have something they can share to be a blessing, and as blessings multiply, so does our opportunity to become greater bless-ers of others.  This is a wonderful trait in the Israeli Messianic community, to see so many are continually reaching out to help others in all sorts of needs. 

Eddie Santoro shares several examples from their own personal experience over the last few months. He writes: "Many of the needs that we encounter are financial. Life in Israel is difficult. Housing is incredibly expensive, food prices are high, gasoline is beyond what a typical American can imagine and incomes tend to be low. Your generosity enables us to encourage those who are in need. . . . God promised that he would bless those who bless Israel. We know that His return in both this life and the life to come will be beyond what we can imagine or hope for. God is so good!"  (Eddie was applying this to their own giving as he was rejoicing in a beautiful new floor and bathrooms in the congregational facility that they were able to give through the giving to Zion's Glory, the Santoro's ministry. Yes! Even the Israeli Messianic ministries are included in the promise of God that He will bless those that bless Israel!)

Pray for the Israeli ministries as they touch the lives of fellow believers in need, as well as their brothers in the flesh, fellow Jews. Let us join them in pray and providing financial resources to bless their people abundantly in the name of Yeshua. To paraphrase 1 John 3:17, If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion--how can God's love be in that person?

Shlomy and Miriam Abramov of Awake Israel Ministries continues in that theme posting photos on Facebook of their joy at giving grocery help to Holocaust survivors, 'care' packages to needy IDF soldiers and filling some clothing needs to bless those in a Special Needs home facility.

The Abramov's wrote: "We saw some small teams come and assist us and true lovers of Zion. Our trips for locals are going so well, each having a gospel witness. We are grateful for true brothers in the land praying with us, lifting us up, encouraging us and being a true example of Jesus humble and selfless love. Our prayer is all the body would follow in the pure spirit of true lowly brotherhood. All praise to our Lord!" Other Revive Israel items this week is a short word from Eitan Shishkoff, MERCY – רחמים on the vision he received back in 1989 for an oasis of God's Mercy for the people of Israel, and what it means to be moved with the compassion of Yeshua for the sick, demon-oppressed, downtrodden, lepers and slaves. Revive Team Minister Cody Archer gives a video teaching Mandated to Bear Fruit | VIDEO and another Revive minister Youval Yanay gives a Yad Hashmona Building Update | VIDEO Update.

Yad Hashmona is a Messianic kibbutz outside of Jerusalem - literally a small village where Messianic families can live together in community and where the Revive Israel ministry center is located. Their current building project of 36 new homes is finally moving forward. "Six families from our team will hopefully be moving in this summer when the homes are finished. This project has gone through many challenges: two lead contractors left the project, filed for bankruptcy and caused many families to lose money. We are asking for your prayers over the coming months for everything to be completed by the summer and for grace for all the families who will be moving in. Watch this an important video update from Youval Yanay about the progress of the building project.

Orna Grinman of A Sign and A Wonder ministry has come back from a ministry trip in Shisinau, Moldova which she has written about in her new blog at http://ornagrinman.com/. You can sign up and see some of her haunting pictures from Moldova, one of the poorest countries in Europe.

From the HaCarmel Assembly in Haifa, a report from David and Karen Davis and Senior Pastor Dani and Luanne Sayeg begins with an eye on the spring holiday season now in session. First with Purim, and on April 22nd, the Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread.  We always like to point out that the Biblical holy days are appointed times among the Jewish people for the Messianic community to be a light to their people leading to recognition of the Jewish Messiah, Yeshua. Pray for all the Israeli ministries, and Messianic ministries worldwide as they seek to keep tradition with their Jewish family, while revealing the spiritual significance of Yeshua to these holidays.

This month the HaCarmel congregation puts a spotlight on their Hadar HaCarmel Center in downtown Hair where they operate Elijah’s Cloak clothing distribution and Raven’s Basket food program in one location.  (More than 70 tons of food distributed in the past year and 20 tons of clothing and household items to needy people).  You can read about the multiple ways this center is a blessing to the people of Haifa inside the attached DOCX Weekly Summary

The congregation also asks for prayer for complete healing and recovery for Pastor David as he continues to rebuild his strength in his battle against cancer. Pray for strength and health for Karen as she devotes herself to caring for him in this season.

When Rick Ridings first brought the 24/7 prayer house movement to Israel, Succat Hallel was operated entirely by volunteers from the nations who would come to serve in internships. There is still internships at Succat Hallel but to put the deepest roots into the soil they recognized a few years ago that it would be necessary to develop a paid ministry staff from the local Messianic Jewish and Christian community.  Today they have 10 full time local ministry staff who serve at Succat Hallel and help  organize the Elav youth conference, and they go out to strengthen other houses of prayer across Israel and the Middle East.  Read more about this ministry and a special need Ridings is sharing for the remaining days of April.

Rick and Patti also write: "Thank you for your prayers for our daughter, Esther.  A doctor even stated that it was a miracle that her MRI showed the cancer had not spread from her lymph nodes (which were removed in the operation) into the rest of her body!  Please continue to agree with us that she is cancer-free for the rest of her life!  Thanks also for your prayers of protection over us and over Israel, as we see the continued grace of the Lord's watching over us. We pray a very blessed Passover for you and your family."

From Katy at Ari and Shira Sorko-Ram's Maoz Ministries this wonderful good report:  "Last week we asked you to pray for Emmanuel, who needed an urgent liver transplant, and who has had many roadblocks to clear because of his delicate physical situation. We are happy to report that yesterday (4/6) Emmanuel successfully underwent a transplant surgery which lasted almost 11 hours. He has been in recovery since last night.  It took several miracles to get him through this.  THANK YOU for your prayers!"

She also shares that Jacob Damkani has suffered a health setback and asks for prayers:  "Several months ago we prayed together for Jacob Damkani, a Messianic Leader and a friend.  Yesterday Jacob went back to the hospital for an extensive checkup after he had a few symptoms which did not look good. Just last month, a movie highlighting Jacob's testimony and faith called "The Preacher" premiered in one of Tel Aviv's most popular theaters.  Clearly this is an attack of the enemy, as Jacob has been boldly proclaiming the Gospel throughout Israel. Please PRAY for wisdom for the doctors as Jacob goes through many tests to discover the source of these symptoms.  PRAY for Jacob's complete healing."

What Can't I Hear? By Asher Intrater http://www.revive-israel.org

Recently I felt a dramatic decrease in my hearing. I went to an ear specialist. The woman doctor was about my age and had a rather serious demeanor. She looked in my ear.  Then she pulled out a primitive instrument, something like a letter opener, and said, "This might hurt a bit."

She dug the pointed object into my right ear and moved it around in a circular motion while I squirmed and gritted my teeth.  She did the same with my left ear.  Then she said, "This is getting a little tough, but I want to get it all out." She scraped and I screamed.  After about a minute on each ear she held out two small, nut-sized plugs of dirt and wax that had been in each ear.  I sat there shaking and wiping my eyes, recovering from the experience.

But then I noticed something.  All my hearing had returned–Instantly!  It was wonderful, beautiful I felt like dancing!  I went over to my "Dr. Serious" and gave her a big hug and kiss. Finally she grinned.  I walked out and have never had a problem since.

Yeshua said, "I have many more things to tell you, but you are not able to bear them now" – John 16:12.

What a shocking statement! We ask God to speak to us. But the problem is not with His speaking but with our willingness or ability to hear what He wants to say. The problem is not with God's mouth but with our ears--or more properly, with our hearts.

Why can we not bear to hear what God wants to tell us? What does He want to tell you that you are unwilling to hear? Are there areas in which we really don't want to know the truth about ourselves? Yeshua said there are "many more things" like that.

For this reason God gives us the Holy Spirit on the inside, so that He can lead us into all the truth that we didn't want to hear (John 16:13). He tells it to us gently and lovingly on the inside, circumventing our tendency to want to "kill" the messenger who brings bad news.  Let's pray, "Lord, help me to listen to the Holy Spirit on the inside. Help me to hear and bear up under the things you are trying to tell me. Amen."

Paul Wilbur and Eitan Shishkoff | Vision for the "Fields of Wheat"

Friendship is a treasure.  Friendship in the Kingdom reflects the very nature of our King.  Over the years we have been rewarded by knowing you and by serving Yeshua together.  We—Paul and Eitan—have been caught up in something so profound and so potential-laden that we feel compelled to share it with you.

From walking with you, we know that your heart is drawn to the restoration of Israel—the fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecy that the dry bones will arise again and be filled with the life of God’s Spirit.  This resurrection is, of course, the very awakening of last days’ Jewish faith in Jesus as Messiah—leading to His soon return.

By the inspiration and orchestration of our Lord we have arrived at a turning point in the divine plan of Jewish and Gentile disciples joining together in the purposes of God.  No longer separated, no longer insecure with each other, it is now time to fuse our faith in preparation for the final harvest.  How can we practically achieve this?

Please allow us to convey the remarkable kairos hour before us.  As a personal favor, we’re asking you to prayerfully read the following account and to seek the will of the Father.  We would so love to walk into this calling together.                                                    

Wind of the Spirit  |  Some 2.000 years ago the wind of the Holy Spirit blew upon 120 Jewish disciples in Jerusalem on the feast of Shavuot. That wind energized them to proclaim the good news of Yeshua the Messiah to the ends of the earth. The same wind was revealed to Ezekiel when he blew on the dry bones of scattered Israel. Today, the wind of the Spirit is blowing again. Just as those Jewish disciples, filled with the Holy Spirit, took the gospel to Gentiles, Gentile believers around the world are being anointed to participate in Israel’s revival. “For if their rejection be the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be, but life from the dead” (Romans 11:15 NASB).

The time is ripe for a radical change in the church’s orientation to Israel and the Jewish people. It has always been God’s plan to unite Israel and the nations together in the Messiah. What started as a Jewish movement expanded to embrace brothers and sisters from the nations as full-fledged members of God’s family. Not since the early church, though, have Jesus’ Jewish disciples participated in His body.  Now, in our generation, the church is being called to its prophetic role in the restoration of Israel to the family of Messiah.

A Year for Redemption - 2016  |  I (Paul) witnessed a supernatural response to this calling on the part of Canadians, last year.  The Holy Spirit moved dramatically from coast to coast. Canadians rose up to bless the Messianic body of believers in Israel with generous donations and offerings of silver and gold, totaling upwards of a million dollars. This was not the culmination of a fund raising campaign but the response of willing hearts to sow a holy offering toward Israel’s restoration.

2016 is the year the church in the United States can take their place in this redemptive story. We believe that what started in Canada will spiral up to an even greater move of the Holy Spirit in the USA--the nation tied more deeply to Israel than any other in modern times. Starting in June 2016 we will be gathering in 12 major cities across America for a one evening “Holy Convocations” to worship, intercede, bring our offerings, and re-establish our bond together as One New Man with the Messianic community in Israel.

Fields of Wheat – A place to bless all Israel | The recipient of these offerings will be “Fields of Wheat.”  The fruit of Israel’s reborn Messianic community, Fields of Wheat is a pioneer vision to create a national center in the Galilee.  This picturesque village will be an environment for worship, prayer, refreshing, discipleship, and equipping of the next generation—serving the entire body of believers in Israel, both Messianic Jews and Christian Arabs. It will be a tangible expression of the one new man, restoring the testimony of Yeshua in the Galilee. Fields of Wheat will also welcome believers from the nations and new immigrants returning to their homeland.

We are approaching these events with the expectation of the Spirit’s outpouring as we come together in unrestricted worship before the Lord.  The prophet Joel promises such an outpouring unto the salvation of the Jewish people; and the apostle Paul declares the phenomenon of our covenant unity as One New Man.

Being in Touch | Our passion is to partner with you for visitation in your city as well as in Israel.  Please join us in fulfilling the longing of Yeshua -- to see His body, both Jew and Gentile, walking together as One New Man--that Israel may be revived and that the world may believe the Father has sent His Son.
