As the Word says, these last days will be the most difficult the world has ever known and the center of those "birth pains" that will herald the return of Yeshua and the establishment of his Kingdom will be in Israel.

Beyond a doubt the world's people will be divided into those who love the truth and those who are serving a lie. We praise God that in these days of escalating trials that we are connected with a people like you who love the truth. May each of us stand against the wave of darkness and deception that is sweeping the earth and may we be numbered among those who stood with Israel as a deceived world turned against her.  – Eddie Santoro

Strategically Aimed for the Lord’s Harvest in Israel

Israel's Isolation among the international community is growing and this week we have an excellent look at that through the eyes of Eddie Santoro of the Ahavat Yeshua (Love of Yeshua) congregation in Jerusalem.  You can click on the link above or read it in full inside the attached Weekly Summary.  Santoro speaks about how prophecy is being fulfilled (Zechariah 14 and Joel 3) with increasing hostility toward Israel. 

With an insider’s prophetic eye, Santoro takes us through some of the pressing issues on Israel and brings us to this dropping off point:  “Beyond a doubt the world's people will be divided into those who love the truth and those who are serving a lie. With the release of the movie, Noah, Arni also speaks about parallels in our own days and the days of Noah, noting that without grace it is impossible to repent.  In the hour of judgment, he writes, the window of grace closes.  “The current level of spiritual activity is unprecedented…and we do not expect it to decrease.  . . . After twenty-two years in Israel, we have witnessed that we in the land are doing no better than anyone else in dealing with trials and temptations.  The conflicts, factions, and divisions in the Body are not decreasing.  We stand in dire need of prayer and intercession.   We too are at a critical point of heeding or being dulled. From our vantage point, we see that things have gone to a new level in the nations, in the Land, and in the Body.“

“In the midst of this all, there is some very good news.   As the sun shines and the rain falls on the righteous and the wicked, the spirit of judgment likewise lands on all.  It has one effect on the rebellious and quite another on the righteous.  While this spirit fixes the hearts of the wicked where they are, it fixes and strengthens the hearts of the children of the Kingdom to stand against every onslaught of the kingdom of darkness.  Halleluiah! (By the way, relating to Pharaoh’s heart, the correct literal rendering of hardened is actually strengthened).”

Asher Intrater’s Revive Israel Ministries shares two videos with us this week.  The first is a -4 min video “The Battle Over Yad Hashmona” which is Israel’s first Messianic Jewish Village.

Intrater also shares a super-short teaching this week John 17 and the Tower of Babel.  “Yeshua's prayer for the unity of the ecclesia (international church) is a profound revelation of God's plan for us.”

Brian Slater sends word that their 40-ft container has landed so they can use it to bring practical comfort to Zion - blessing our single mothers, widows, orphans, Holocaust survivors, native Israelis as well as the Ethiopian and Russian immigrants, in Yeshua's name.  “after over two years of praying, meeting with City Officials, networking and seeing this process through”  they are now rejoicing to be able to “to distribute, furniture, clothes, and dry food products, as well as emergency kits and supplies in preparation for war.”

Slater’s group also runs a Soup Kitchen in Netanya which is partnering with Beit Asaph Messianic congregation in a new outreach for War Vets who are Holocaust Survivors.  There were 40+ participants in the first outreach who were treated to a special mean and loads of love showered on them.  Many were given clothes, bread and bags of soup mix to carry home.  Pray for these men who are the last of the Holocaust generation – that they will find the peace of Messiah.

Pray also for the Slater family which is facing several challenging family issues with Brian’s wife recovering from surgery; her dad being moved into their town to be closer; and Brian’s parents in California with health issues.  Pray that the Lord Yeshua will meet every need by His grace and provision.

From Guy Cohen at Harvest of Asher – mazal tov! On the bar mitzvah of his and Tali’s son Chen.

Guy writes, “The Lord has been putting on my heart a desire to bring His name to as many people as possible. This year we will serve a Passover meal (Seder) here at the congregation. Members of the congregation have been encouraged to invite non believing family and friends at no cost to the guests. There is a possibility that many holocaust survivors will join us for this evening.  In addition, I am preparing a revised Passover Haggadah putting Yeshua in the center of the Passover festival. We are expecting many people to participate.  We ask that you keep us in your prayers.  Once again thank you for your prayers and support. May you and your family have a Blessed Passover.”

Lura Beckford in Arad shared a good story with a moral on Facebook last week:  “There were 2 believers living side-by side in Israel. They were so fearful of sharing the Gospel they each did not know the other was a believer. We encouraged the one to talk to her neighbor about her belief in Yeshua. To her joy and amazement, the other responded with, "I have been praying for years for a prayer partner!" They wasted years praying that God would bring another believer, but did not bother to ask around or let anyone know their own belief. This is so common here in Israel. Dare to be a Daniel! Dare to stand alone! The Lord is with you! Share your faith!”

Rick Ridings of the 24/7 prayer and worship house in Israel is excited to announce that Succat Hallel has been able to add a number of Jewish and Arab young adult believers to the staff and volunteers over the past year.   This is an extremely significant part of Succat Hallel’s growth because it must be entwined with the citizens to fulfill all its “one new man” vision.   In the past much of Succat Hallel was staffed by volunteers from the international church.  With this new thrust at becoming more an indigenous work the shift must be to more salaried staff.  International volunteers can raise their support to fill these positions back home, but that is not true for the Israeli Arabs and Jews now stepping in to these roles. Urgent HEALING Needs: Life and Death is in the power of the tongue

Please keep in prayer the Israeli believers who are fighting for their lives or other urgent health needs:  

• David & Karen Davis of Kehilat Carmel ask prayer for their son, David, who was in a serious car accident in February and has a broken neck. We are thankful he is not paralyzed, but he still has intense pain and is in a strong neck brace to prevent further damage.  They also ask prayer for Pam Singer, one of their deaconesses, as she undergoes knee replacement surgery on March 19.
• Shlomy Abramov of AwakeIsrael asks prayer for his wife who went in for a surgery, there was a complication and she almost died.  She is home but Shlomy had to hire a 24/7 nurse. Miriam is very weak, anemic needing an infusion of iron to help in producing the blood.  Doctors expect a month before recovery.  They need a miracle.
• Arni & Yonit Klein of Emmaus Way request prayers for staff in the U.S. (Becky and Keith) and in Germany (Hannah).  We reported the extremely serious injuries of Keith and of Hannah months ago, now in caretaking Becky is also suffering physical strain and pain.  Keith is beginning to be able to move both legs a bit, but Hannah is still in intense physical therapy with pain spreading.  They would appreciate prayers.
• Howard Bass at Nachalat Yeshua asks prayers for German (pronounced with hard 'g'), who suffered a stroke a couple of weeks ago.  German is 83 yrs old, but has been in excellent health.
• Brian Slater’s wife Racheli Has Risen to Her Feet, Halleluyah!  She has not been home for over 70 days, except two 24-hour visits and it potentially is looking at an additional 30 days away from home, depending on the speed of her recovery and healing of her bones, in Yeshua's Name!
• Four elder ministry leaders in Israel, are dealing with Parkinson’s which is a neurological syndrome.  Since they have not shared this information, I will just ask for you to please pray for them each to be able to continue to live normal lives, and for the hand of the LORD to bless them with healing.
• Harvest of Asher   Elena has passed into eternity.  Please continue to pray for Marina and her grandmother who have just come to the end of the seven day mourning period Elena.  Please pray for a 11-yr old autistic boy who functions at a high level, but has declined emotionally with a change in schools this year.  Pray for Marina & her daughter suffering from a genetic hearing disease.
• Please pray for the wife of Ariel Ben David, who leads an Eilat Congregation, and also for his worship leader, both of whom were recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
• Pray for Ami Ortiz for ongoing issues from the Purim 2008 bomb blast –  all this time later there are still painful procedures, lack of recognition from the government of this terror victim status.
